No I'll do what I please. This isn't a vote on some infrastructure bill or spending. Millions of people will be affected, and thousands will die. And all of this could've been avoided completely if John McCain simply stayed home. He chose to come in to the Senate and voted for a massively unpopular bill that was created in secret and flew in the face of Senate norms, all to appease a President that shit on him for getting captured. I'll save my sympathy and empathy for all of the people who will be harmed by this, McCain gets none of it. Fuck him, I don't believe in the sanctity of life, I believe you're as good as your actions. Like when Liz Warren voted for fucking Ben Carson. She badly misread the mood on that one. They bought into the same "give him a chance" shit that some of the media was pitching back in January. Thankfully they found themselves pretty quickly, but there's still too much comity in the Senate for my liking.

The House has the better idea, as much as that "hey hey goodbye" chant got criticized. That's more of what we need to see: the meanness of the GOP platform should be met by meanness.
