I really like Shades of Cool. Or maybe I think it's good because West Coast is so boring.
Either way I don't think this album is going to be as good as her previous work, I'd like to be wrong though.
it inspired me to watch the ten tour again
watch the pop artists of a generation weave their craft girls
Ummi kinda don't like yayo. i think born to die is one of the best albums ever made.
THIS... made her famous?
Lettuce all remember how perfect a debut Just Dance was :'(
Well, it's not THIS masterpiece, but Just Dance was passable as a lead single.
I remember seeing this on MTV back when it first aired and thinking "She's going to flop. Just another edgy wannabe."
I despised Just Dance when it first came out.
It's amusing that Telephone actually sounds quite original considering the nature of the two vocalists.

Meh. I prefer http://youtu.be/0RQDIJ2CvbA
Technically, Beyoncé is very impressive. I have nothing but respect for her ability and artistry. Freakum Dress and Green Light are legendary tracks that all girls can take notes from.
Beyoncé really was a very good album and you can actually distance it from the hype because it does well on its own terms. It's not quite B'Day tho. B'Day is amaaaaazing.
Then, idk. DiL has the flawless triple punch of Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl and Baby Boy, and then it sort of rises and falls. I Am... has Sweet Dreams and Halo so frankly that's worth the price of an entire album by itself. I've never been able to get into 4.
Can I compliment Beyoncé and still be a member of the #NVAY?Because frankly B'Day > any of Rihanna's studio albums

I'm listening to Mariah's album rn and she sounds kinda dire, even though the songs aren't bad. I'm sure I've heard better vocals on a The Lord album.
I don't think I've ever listed my favebefore...s

It's true
I like Rated R more but objectively BEYONCÉ is better.

Oh.
I agree that B'Day is great, but her self titled takes it away for me. B'Day ultimately isn't as bold, important, or indicative of Beyoncé's talent as BEYONCÉ is.
BEYONCE is Bey at her most trend-chasing and "inspired by Youtube". Granted, you could also say this about B'Day, but Bey had more fun with it back then.
