I kind of wish they'd actually gone through with Juice's suicide, just to raise the stakes somewhat? There's been a severe lack of important people dying recently.

I actually think the stakes are upped more by him trying and failing to commit suicide, at least for the character. He now either has to try again or deal with his situation head on. But if he did die, I think it would be the breaking point for the club at this point.

was it a branch breaking? I thought it was just the chain clanging but haven't rewatched

At first I thought it was that or a cliche neck cracking sound. But after thinking about it, it was probably the branch.

I am pissed as hell right now. Last night I was watching a program on National Geographic and there was a news ticker at the bottom of the screen stating that as of November 1st, Directv would no longer be carrying Fox related networks including FX.

I don't know what's going on exactly or if it's just where I live (Florida). This season of Sons has been great and it would be a damn shame to miss out on the rest.

*edit: link to story in case no one else has heard http://www.deadline.com/2011/10/dir...-fox-networks-on-nov-1-over-carriage-dispute/

This shit happens all the time. It will most likely be resolved with no breaks in coverage.

Did you see that new prospect, the one supposed to "shadow" Lyla? Wasn't he asian, or maybe latino?

I thought SAMCRO was a "white only" club?

New episode tonight.
Family Recipe

A club vote gets side tracked when SAMCRO is forced to deal with dangerous external threats.
It's supposedly a good one this evening:

A standout episode of Sons Of Anarchy brings season four's many storylines crashing together

TOP PICK
Sons Of Anarchy (FX, 10 p.m.): So many things have happened in this season of TV’s favorite motorcycle club drama that viewers could be forgiven for thinking that the whole thing was going to come crumbling down, leaving nothing but an increasingly unlikely plot. That’s all changed with last week’s episode and this week’s standout hour, which bring the vast majority of the season’s storylines to a head without also making everything fall apart and still leaving room for the show to maneuver going forward. Plus, there’s a crisis in terms of who’s going to lead the club, and there are death threats, and there are folks dying, and… it’s just a wondrous mess, and Zack Handlen is surely impressed.
Good to hear seeing as the Fox / DirecTV nonsense means this might be the last episode some of us can watch live for a while. :/

It’s unclear how much of what Sutter said will air before tonight’s broadcast, but this is what the normally outspoken writer-producer claims he wanted to say to fans: “Starting Nov. 1, DirecTV is pulling FX from your box. That means you’ll miss the last five episodes of Sons this season. Perhaps five of the most critical episodes of the series. I know Fox has a horse in this race, but they’re trying to negotiate in good faith.

They better fix this shit.

He wasn't alone.
Cox in my area doesn't have FX HD on demand for next day viewings only SD. Makes me sad, especially because they have FX HD in the freezone for shows but they are always 1-2 episodes behind. So it is impossible to catch up unless I watch the SD stream or skip an episode and see what happened 2 weeks later. And I can't wait till the end and just marathon the whole season because they only keep around 4-5 episodes on before they get bump off the older ones.

Man this is like the biggest problem anyone has ever had in the world.

Yeah, I really hope they sort that mess out. I've been loving this season and it would suck if tonight's episode would be the last one I could watch on tv. :(

So both Opie and Jax know that Clay is capable of killing because of Opie's wife...aren't they gonna suspect him now?
I would think so, but Clay left the "LS" on the picture to make it seem like the cartel. Not sure how gullible they are, though.

Besides, if Opie found out about it he'd probably just get in a fist fight with Clay and then forget about it for two seasons.

Opie has got to be the one to kill Clay. Ordered the hit on the love of his life, and killed his father. I think Opie and Bobby are the only club members I'm left cheering for.

A shame Piney didn't tell Jax more when he rode up to the cabin.

So now Clay has killed both Opie's and Jax's fathers, along with Opie's wife, not to mention the hit he put on Tara...very interested in how it's all gonna play out.

I don't think they would kill off Clay before the end of the show as he is such a big part of it, but you never know. I can see Clay killing Gema to keep his secret though.

Holy shit. Still a bit too much talking about useless shit that's been a bit annoying this shit. The overall storyline of the cartel has been weak, while the club drama has been some of the best of the series.

I noticed it says Stockholm Sweden behind Clay, anyone know what that is?

Kinda cool. :p

I think Clay is more of a monster than Walter White

Walt is not a monster per say, he just had to make some cold, and calculating decisions because his life is always on the line. Clay is a veteran biker outlaw who has lived that kind of life for much of his adult life.

Poor Piney. Damn, Clay has been a dark character this season. Ordering a hit on his (basically) daughter-in-law and now taking out Piney. I really felt Piney was close to telling Jax the truth at Piney's cabin.

On another note, we saw the PSA from Kurt Sutter and my brother went to check the site out but it was down. It was probably getting pounded last night. Hope they sort this out soon.

I love the cartel story line. Right now it isn't prominent, but it has been the catalyst for a lot of what's happened this season.

Someone pointed out that Clay has taken out three of the First Nine at this point - John Teller, Piney, and McGee in Ireland.
