My Livestream and Ustream probably took around a combined total of 6-8 hours to setup. Livestream I've had forever though, so all I did was make adjustments, Ustream was relatively easy to make though. There's a good TeamLiquid tutorial for Ustream I found which helped speed me up. For Livestream all you really need is Procaster and a good internet connection. I'll be streaming on Ustream tonight because the interface is less cluttered and there's rarely any ads, unlike Livestream which demands you to watch them every 15 minutes.
Cool I'll check it out, I probably won't run it tonight because I won't have enough time to set it up. But I'll look into for the future of gaf nights. I'll be getting a 2nd monitor soon, so I might just wait for that.

Bah, crap. Just lost to a Marine/SCV rush (not quite an all-in but probably close to it) on DQ. Didn't even have my sentry out by the time he went up my ramp. No idea how I could have held it off. I did mis-micro with my probes a little but he had way too much..

edit: Okay, watched the replay myself and it probably came down to the failed force field and bad micro in general.

Huge find, some guy who supposedly worked on animations for Starcraft II cutscenes leaked previsualization videos.

Kerrigan Dies (Wings of Liberty) with original Kerrigan voice:

SPOILER - end cutscene for Heart of the Swarm - SPOILER
Kerrigan Arrives (Heart of the Swarm):

The Kerrigan Arrives cutscene was first linked on GAF by Ignis Fatuus in another thread

Sad but expected. The dialogue fits perfectly with the style of Wings of Liberty and recent World of Warcraft writing.

Had his dog run over by Blizzard's CEO
Played some Terran on Shakuras and just Roach Rushed through the rocks, thought it was pretty ironic for a Terran to cry about cheese.

Sad to see the plot to SCII doesn't seem to get any better in the next installment.
You're looking at a small slice of a cut scene of a plot of an expansion pack that isn't due for well over a year, that is nowhere near representative of the final product.

And it seems EXACTLY like the crap from vanilla SCII, worst of all more of that
"Zerg are just misunderstood"
garbage.

Ugh, it sucks that the hots ending apparently leaked. I don't have particularly high expectations for the story telling, but I still like to go into these unspoiled. Chances that I won't be spoiled by someone in the year+ that the expansions will probably take are probably pretty low. Though I successfully managed to avoid most of the cinematics that Blizzard legitimately released for WotS (Kerrigan vs Zeratul, previz version of the New Gettysburg flashback) so who knows.

The cool thing is even if that cutscene goes largely unchanged it's still leaves the Dark Voice and the Xel'Naga questions unanswered or even mentioned, thus as Chris Metzen said himself was the overarching story throughout since Starcraft 1. Legacy of The Void will probably have the best story of the 3.

I'm in for a gaf night. Also, where's the most recent list of gaf players? I'm going to clean out of my friends list and add more active players.

Ok fellows maybe one of you can help me solve this low paged pool memory issue. I'm currently running Starcraft 2 on Windows XP and I would encounter this error almost everytime I play. I have 4GB of RAM and no programs running when playing this game. I manually set the maximum paged pool memory in diskmanagement to ffffff and that still didn't fix the problem. Also, when I hit tab to go back to the desktop it literally takes me 30 seconds to load up the game again.

Alright guys, the first phase of GAF night is over and we've had some interesting 1v1's! My streams are offline, and thanks to whoever watched, but GAF night is not over by a long shot, you can still join right now as we will still be doing a few more games before nights end!

Also, all videos of tonight's matches can be found on my Ustream! Now GL HF! :D

GAF may make VoD's for youtube of the better matches tonight...

videos are gone. anyone got mirrors?

I just play Desert Strike almost all the time now. It's really competitive and fun on the middle difficulty. However, everyone picks the "epic battle" easy difficulty that just always guarantees an hour-long stalemale into a sudden death.
