Thats kinda the point. Impromptu tourny to raise tourny interest. We can after tonight setup a tournament that doesnt revolve around GAF nights and they have X time to play therefore everyone can play.

I know this is slightly off topic, but does anyone know where to get fairly cheap (under 20 dollars) Starcraft II T-Shirts?

My little brother wants one for his birthday, but the ones at Hot Topic are kind of expensive, and I was hoping maybe you guys might know a better place.

Alright I guess Ill just ask. Do yall want to have a little tourny tonight or just do a full fledged one for over like a week time? Hopefully someone will post casts etc of them? Then we can have standard gaf night tonight.

My wife got me some from jinx.com on clearance for $10 or so. Might try there.

She also got me the replica jacket - if any one is interested it's really decent.

We'd probably get better attendance out of an actual organized tournament. And we'd have time to do Best of 3s or something if we had more time to play our games.

Anyone happen to have any SEA server guest passes? the 7 hour ones, going to a mates tomorrow and he's moving to germany for 1 - 3 years next week, so we are going to have a lads night of gaming :)

hoping to get 3 passes!

I will happily pay back with sexual favours.

Yeaaa I was lost as hell. Haven't played much recently, but no excuse for noob play. I'll play more going into next GAF Night and I predict I'll own someone

So I came to the realization I have no clue what has to happen in order to get promoted. I went to look at my ladder for 1v1, and the guy in first place has 460 games played with 240 wins. He has 240 wins 219 losses, and 1900 some points.

So am I basically playing catch up to him? Or is it he'll be promoted soon and then the guy in 2nd place is who I want to play catch up with? Win a lot/play a lot = promotion?

When you get matched up against players with a higher Match making score than you and win your score goes up. Do it enough and you'll be promoted, simple as that. But if you keep winning vs people with similar scores as you and losing to people with better scores you won't get promoted, so just winning isn't enough.

It's just for show, everything related to the points you can see is just for show really. There's a few hidden variables that Battlenet keeps track of for purposes of matchmaking and league placement.
