hey all, I saw that GundamInfo's Youtube channel has Seed. It is worth watching? Scrolled through the thread and it looks like to stay away from 00, which they also have up.

Having just finished watching 00 Seasons 1 and 2, SEED, and currently in the middle of SEED Destiny, I say watch them. I was in the same position you were but I think they're all at least worthy of 1 viewing. They each have some cool suits and characters even if overall the show is mediocre. Plus they're free!

The placement of the Gundams in that teaser is an interesting one.

Very often it's 78-2, Strike/Freedom, Raise and Unicorn up front. Still have that but now you have Wing and Strike Freedom in the same spot above the Unicorn and three different G Gundam suits that are clearly shown.

I'm just happy that Epyon was already shown.

Great animation, but it got really repetitive for me. Pretty hollow story and characters. Some terrible lore. Still excited for S2 just for more great animation, but as a whole a kind of mediocre show.

To me, it's a generic shonen show with Gundam trappings. Goes to the nostalgia well one too many times and didn't really have much story or character wise to set it apart.

I know what you mean. ZZ is a really good show. I even enjoy the shangrila stuff. Probably because one of my favorite aspects of UC is the world building stuff, so it's always nice to see what life is like on the colonies.

Only section I really don't care for is Tigerbaum.

Whoa there, 00 is awesome. It doesn't always make sense, the movie kinda fizzled out, a few things are thrown in and never properly expanded upon, but overall, the animation, music, fights, absolute badassery of the Gundams vs grunts, and Sumeragi's boobs are completely worth the watch.

Seed is a worse show, not AGE bad, but not great, it might be more tolerable in Japanese (which I assume is what GundamInfo has). Some of the characters just really suck, and it's basically 0079 to a degree (of course, 00 is sort of like Wing), but at least the suit designs are (imo) kind of cool.

Let's post based on OSTs and then we'll have a lot of awesome tier.

Already explained my Build Fighters position, but here's why I like Part 2 of AGE. The designs are actually pretty great (particularly AGE-2 Double Bullet). It does some pretty awesome things with what is a pretty terrible cast from part 1. The changes you see Flit go through from the boring protagonist from part 1 are actually interesting and give more depth to a character than a lot of gundam series have. Asemu has a pretty decent character arc and his relationship with Zeheart is more interesting than what happens with a lot of rivalries (barring the obviously amazing rivalries like Char/Amuro). Old Woolf is also an amazing character. Part 2 does a pretty fantastic job given the time constraints and horrible Part 1 it has to carry on its back. It's ambitious in a way that doesn't entirely works, but I can admire.

The rest of age can burn in the fiery pits of hell, though. Part 2 does nothing to save that show as a whole.
