The Turbo Duo was released, it integrated the TGX16 and CD add-on just like the PC Engine Duo. Having the option of a CD to expand your system was great for the existing owners.

Yeah. The original system was pretty awkward with the CDROM drive.

The pc engine was awesome hardware for 1987 .. all the cd rom did was add ally more ram and then you could make games like rondo. If it would have took off in the west it could have competed against the snes for sure with big publishers behind it.

Thats cool, I loved TG16 back in the day. Was one of the only people around who had one.

Wish the tg16 mini had a jailbreak (as I own it), like my ps1 classic does... I love having 120 ps1 games and the full 8-16bit library on that, but using ps1 controllers for those games feels weird.

TG16 mini sold so little no one bothered to hack it, or at least put their results online. Shame.

With the prices for retro disc's and hu cards, no way would I be buying this.
