Uber is really easy. Yes.
Partly due to how overpowered the stealth pistol and stealth is in the game.
just finished it: amazing! one of the best fps story/campaigns in recent years, easily.
and you can really tell that some of the developers worked on riddick/the darkness.
i am still shocked at how much character depth bj blaskowitz has. the game really cares about its characters and (mostly) gets away with it (unlike other "silly" shooters that tried something similiar, like gears 2+3).
Finally, DLed and installed. Let's do this!

I just fired my cache of rockets until he died. Pretty anti-climactic.
...just turned it off. How fucking corny and boring. Glad I kept the receipt.
If this game had no stealth, Uber would be way harder. But seriously, the stealth pistol is such a godsend.
Yup
I've pretty much "hip-fired" 95 percent of the time. Fuck ADS and I hate how it became the standard.
does the game hold the 60fps & 1080p up well most of the time or does it make sacrifices? really interested in playing a old school type shooter like this

The guns feel super flat and boring to me. I got to the ......part and just turned it off. How fucking corny and boring. Glad I kept the receipt.
hip firing >>> ADS
Hehe yep. Its pretty damn refreshing. What's this? A shooter that doesn't penalise you for hipfiring, has a great sense of movement and speed as well as dual wielding fricking assault rifles? Say it ain't so!
I like ADS but yes it's nice to have a game where ADS doesn't really matter and it's just there as an option.
The guns feel super flat and boring to me. I got to the "dissect your friends eyes" part and just turned it off. How fucking corny and boring. Glad I kept the receipt.

Now if only we didn't have to manually pick up every last piece of ammo and armor. I spend half the time in this game looking at the floor.
The only gripe I have is having to actually find and press square to pick up loot (on PS4). It means I'm constantly looking at the ground, and it feels like it slows down the pace for me. I'd rather be able to just walk over the ammo and health pickups to get them.
I'm kind of resisting the pressure (imposed by the game itself via commanders) to play stealth. I died once or twice in the first levels but so far Uber isn't that bad even guns-blazing..Looking forward to playing hardcore mode via the Enigma unlock
I'm about halfway through and it hasn't dropped once on PS4.
NoneScreen tearing?
It's really weird how a Wolfenstein game encourages stealth more than 90% of stealth games.
Screen tearing?
None
One, very quick instance of texture loading when entering a new area. That's it.Pop in?
Definitely needs to be a sequel.

Yep. Just like Rage only much less common here. I've seen about as much pop-in here as I have with Ground Zeroes.Pop-in can happen too if you spin around too fast.
