The cover's static picture's lighting is much better than the gifs IMO.
The twitter gifs look a little overly bright. Whereas as this looks just right.

Yeah, I suspect we won't see it (The XB1 version) until the game releases and sites start comparing the 2, at which point either way it goes MS is going to get dogpiled.

If the difference is "too big," people will complain they are gimping the XB1 versions to "force people to upgrade." It the difference is "too small" then it will be, XB1 is holding next gen back.

Going to be fun times.

The graphics/atmosphere remind me of Alan Wake and Quantum Break, so I like it, I like it a lot. As for that patented gameplay, it looks to me what Halo MCC is doing, where there are two versions of the game running at the same time under the hood and you can switch between them anytime you want.

Truth to be told, Blair Witch seemed to have same atmosphere as AW and how that turned out. But that was collab.
