Do miniatures count as figures? I was cleaning out my closet and decided to get back into painting my warhammer stuff. I quit a while back but still got a mountain of unpainted minis.

This reminded me of a chat that I had with friends recenlty, we analyzed the life and hometown of some chess pieces and christmas decoration. The queen was surprisingly unendowed.
Actually I have a pretty sizeable Sisters of Battle force. They have quite a bit of that to show. Well, as much as old school 40k metal minis can show anyway, though to be fair most of them wear robes/capes so no hometown at all.
OMG, I just looked it up. Her perfect proportions... that slender body, that small little booty !! This is right down my lane! Right up my alley! Straight up my butthole!! They're selling me the exact bag of drugs I need!! And she's nopan too??? I died and gone to heaven! I might need this.

It is time consuming but the payoff is worth it. Also imagine all the GK you could get and paint once the skills improve.
that's pretty vague, it just says "system error occured." I was having a problem with their site not loading pages during the checkout process a few weeks ago, just try again in a little bit and maybe it'll sort itself out.
A friend of mine recently got back into 40k and i had a few battles with my tyranids when I was visiting California for the holidays. I haven't painted figures in years but am getting back into it, just waiting for some new paints to arrive in the mail. My old ones had all dried up.

1/8 Ultimate Madoka is all you need really, but good luck finding her at a reasonable price.
Just get Ultimate Madoka and be done with it.

Nice job painting that. If you could manage that I think garage kit wouldn't be too difficult for you. The only reason I haven't start doing garage kit is because of all the molding problem you had to fix, and stupid eye drawing.

Yeah the eyes seem like they are what would kill me. The skin would be easy since I own an airbrush. There are several Monster Hunter GKs I want to paint.

As for figures, let me help you keep it reasonable. Buy GSC's Ultimate Madoka 1/8. She is fabulous. You need her.

From there, it's up to you. You could stop there, like I tried to do (and was successful in for several years), or keep going.
For scales I recommend the maiko/haregi set that GSC/Stronger is doing but it will be some months before the rest of those are released and they're also not cheap (I'm collecting this set).

FREEing is doing a cute (but inferior (but more affordable)) set of the girls in yukata.

GSC also did a set of the girls in their magical girl outfits which is rather affordable for a set of scales, however, as much as I love the show, I'm just not a huge fan of the GSC set--mainly because I'm just not a big fan of the designs, not because there's anything wrong with GSC's work. I only bought Kyoko because she's dabes.

There are also some figmas and nendos if you like those. You'd think with my recent rash of nendo fever and being a big fan of Madoka I'd also have the nendos, but I actually don't have any of them and honestly don't really want them.

Hey Giolon, I have a question about the ebCraft Selvaria.... MFC says it's 11.7" tall.... Is that to the top of her head, or the top of her lance?

Neither. She's about 9.25" tall to the top of her head, 10.25" to the top of her lance. Her lance was always more horizontal than the prototype (as well as her head at a different orientation). ebCraft calling her 1/6 scale has always been bullshit.
I'll admit it - these would sink my wallet.
Buy Abyss girls don't come with these great extras!
I unboxed Kaga tonight (got her last week, been busy).
Really need to get an Akagi now to put this kotatsu to use!
Can't decide how to pose her. Probably "combat" pose for now, then will have some more fun with food poses once I find an Akagi.
