E3 2015 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3

Booted up New Leaf and the first thing that happens is Leif bitching about all the weed in town
and makes me run around pulling them out

asshole :p

It was like that last year as well. Nintendo actually promotes their 3-day stream alongside their conference unlike other companies. They just mention they have 3-day streams and don't really promote it alongside their conferences. It should be expected that Nintendo has more viewers.

The viewer count is also lower than last year's where it had the most viewers during most of the 3 days of E3.

Bit to be expected for it to be lower with the showing. If there was more, and the promise that the big megaton was shown, it'd be higher.

They're still knocking it out of the park. They're making the games look much better than the Digital Event did.

I just don't get it.

The graphics are serviceable for a mainline animal crossing game. All it needs is online/community features.

WOuld be cool to invite 30 people to your town to have a party/sell trade/etc

I don't either. If they had to make something low budget anything would have been better than that. I hate being negative but that was the worst thing I have seen Nintendo do. Urban Champions blow it out of the water

Make it Animal Crossing Hide and Seek or something. Anything would have been better than that garbage. I hate that the Treehouse folks had to pretend to be interested in that.

Why are people reacting so negatively towards the developer interview parts?

I thought they were very neat to see how the concepts came to life, like the Inari Shrine stuff (although well-read Nintendo fans such as myself of course knew that previously), the creation of Yarn Yoshi, and how they used to draw out the Mario stages.

Sector Alpha? That's new, right?

EDIT: NVM, it's a sector Y remake

This area looks really rough, even moreso than some of the other planets

shame i can't play it since i don't do amiibo

I might remember things wrong but 20k seems about the same amount that many of the Treehouse segments last year had.

Last year, treehouse got the most views the first day because of Smash. Then it even out to around 20,000 or more for the other two days. Most work and watch individual sections.

Ships fading in... really?

You mean why is Star Fox playing like Star Fox?

I dunno.

No, some of the ship movements are exactly the same as the N64 game. The ship in the middle is reminiscent of the ship in the second level of the SNES game. This walker part is sort of new I guess. Though the got that from SF2.

So when can we buy that Arwing to play in?

Seriously, I played Star Fox Assault in april to get ready for this years new game - and this looks at about the same graphical level. At least the game itself looks great and I will pick it up day zero.

I love me some Nintendo. I love me some Star Fox.

But damn, if this doesn't look super lo-fi. There's something very 'budget' about this Star Fox title and I can't shake that feeling.

Star Fox does not look good.....you can tell me what you want....

Mario Kart, Zelda and so on proof that this system can deliver nice graphics.

Thats stuff is interesting to me but i would say it should be separated from the game showcase especially on e3 since everyone wants to see games primarily. It's ok to give a minute or two for some feedback from the developers but nintendo took too much time with it. They should leave the developer for additional commentary for people who want to know more.

Yep it looked boring as shit.

Did anyone high up at Nintendo see the final video? There is no way anyone can say yes, this video here shows what Nintendo is about 2015-2016. This right here will create excite for current 3ds and wii u fans and encourage people who haven't bought yet to buy now or the coming future. This damn fucking 45 min video right here is shows what we want. Yes, lets end this stupid donkey balls video with a song, lets add as much developer interviews as possible to this shit ass E3 video to show the world of entertainment.

Yes as Nintendo, a leader in the gaming industry, we are proud of this fucking piece of shit video to post on youtube.

Who knows who make these videos and accept them. They have been good in the past, but this video shows that they need more quality control for next year. They even have enough content for a decent Direct, but somehow managed to not show it and show terrible interviews and yarn-factory and singing instead - while leaving the Smash DLC, Mother Zero, Devils Third, Fatal Frame, Rhytm Tengoku, Dragon Quest, Bravely Second etc out. MINDBLOWING.
