JC wasn't able to talk about Chibi Robo amiibo integration even though Bill mentioned it on the Micro Direct.
 
I wouldn't mind going to Nor's side for the challenge, but I am not a fan of going mission to mission the traditional Fire Emblem way. I like chilling out and fighting randoms for some extra money, relationship points, and exp. I also like to grind weaker characters since I like using people even if they suck in battle.

She is beautiful, but I just cant forget her from the dark days of Nintendo Voice Chat. While the crew before was even worse in their constant negativity, the guys led by Rich George were either clueless or complete fanboys like Audrey - which made the show terrible to listen to.

True, they have done those. I guess what I'm saying is that it would be cool if they could expand those Treehouse streams beyond the bigger releases and to some of the smaller ones, too. It's really just a great advertising platform that I really enjoy watching.

My friends and I always played Wipeout as a pure racer with power-ups off, so it seems very similar.
 
Each version in 28 chapters? Was that known already? And only the first 6 are the same in each version? I wouldn't be surprised if the final boss is the same in both though. Either the Norh king or some dragon.
 
Don't tease a Chrom amiibo you jerks I would be all over that shit if they made one!

They definitely just said it was two separate games now. But I still don't understand the "crucial decision" in the game. Shouldn't that decision be made based on the game you bought?
 
Switching the E3 Youtube Treehouse stream to 720P (firefox) spikes my CPU usage to 99% and then crashes my browser.

I've been able to recreate this issue consistently anyone else experiencing something similar? (CPU is an i5 3470)

Fuck this. While they had a terrible direct yesterday, them having to support their own plattforms is still the best guarantee that they will continue to develop the kind of games we love and not turn into Sega or one of the other japanese thirdpartys.

In the case of that one I think the amiibo have forced their hand. You notice how the smash bros waves are all way later in America the yarn yoshi ones could have the same problem.
 
Hmm, so it does sound like there's a "Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright". I just assumed Conquest / Birthright were the names of the paths you choose.

So confusing.

They are translating two games, not one. This isn't like Pokemon. The texts are different past Chapter 7. And Xenoblade X is a much bigger game.

Ok, that explains it honestly.
8-4 probably is doing it and working quicker. Xenoblade X is probably just starting getting translated by Treehouse.

Which explains why no English playable version at E3.
 
In Japan they released a version that included both games, right? I understand it was at a premium price, but I'd prefer to decided my path at the moment, not in the store when I'm buying the game. I want to learn about the characters and decide like that.

Watching on youtube, it didn't cut out for me. She basically just said what the Japanese info said. You can make the amiibo character show up in the game and run a shop in My Castle or something like that, do various activities there.
Then they cockteased a Chrom amiibo to play with my heartstrings.

Fair point, but Yoshi isn't the first game to have a long delay for practically no reason.

I think what she meant was that in order to experience both sides of the story, you'll want to play both versions. The said that the game is a full Fire Emblem experience, and it's actually the longest one to date.

Also, JC is back and he's playing Blast Ball! Time for some salt.
