Actor Chadwick Boseman(Black Panther) dies from cancer

Damn, I had no idea he was fighting cancer. He looked normal in the Marvel films and unfortunately I know very well what stuff like chemo can do to people.

Bloody hell, I was not expecting rhat.

I'd always thought he was great as BP, but that he himself was a bit of a prat from interviews, because he was often a little too poe faced and serious, but if he was in the middle of treatment, then the guy had a damned good excuse for it.

Rest in peace Chadwick, at least he went out at the top of his career and most likely having set his family up for life.

I completely understand his decision to not make the disease public.

However, having lost loved ones by cancer and suddenly from a car accident I feel it would be better if he had revealed his condition.

Seeing people in superhero movies, you think they would be the strong and healthiest people around.
So it's all the more shocking.

Rest in Peace, Chadwick.
He had an amazing screen presence in the movies I have seen him.
Wish we would have seen a lot more movies with him in the future.... : /

What?? This is out of nowhere. He was so young. So he's been sick in the last few years and kept working all while looking like he was perfectly fine? Wow. Rest in peace.

Just woke up to this news. WHAT THE FUCK MAN.

Didn't even know he had cancer. Jesus Christ this shit is evil man. Fuck cancer. Rest in Piece Chad.

As his Hollywood career boomed, though, Boseman was privately undergoing “countless surgeries and chemotherapy” to battle colon cancer, his family said in a statement announcing his death at age 43 on Friday. He’d been diagnosed at stage 3 in 2016 but never spoke publicly about it.

Fucking hell. What a warrior.

“Aww, it’s so...average,” she said to him in a cold brick of passion
Saw this last night and didn't know what to say and I find myself still trying to find the words this morning. The guy was a pop culture icon these past 4 years or so with the Marvel Universe as Black Panther. And as someone who didn't even know he was sick I find these past 4 years just that much more impressive and meaningful. For him to have done so much while so sick is just....amazing. There is no words for how brave that is to me. Because I know that if it was me and I knew I possibly only had years left I would not be on a movie set. I would have been on a beach somewhere with a strong drink and good company. But he apparently threw himself into his craft despite his condition and that takes a special kind of person.

Wherever he is I hope he has finally found some rest and comfort. My thoughts go out to his friends and family. May they find some measure of peace in all of this.

Really Sad outcome. He’s younger than me. I don’t know what his family is(Wife, kids?) but I am sure they are really suffering and I feel for them. 43 is way too young.

I was always wondering why Disney seemed to be putting off Black Panther 2, I kept hearing like 2023 as it’s release which given how big the first was seemed like a long time. I guess we now know the reason for the delays in starting production.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Black Panther but Chadwick seemed like a good guy and was a good choice for Black Panther, based on the comments in here I will watch 42 as it seems to be well liked.

yeah, at the time it made no sense, Doctor Strange 2 but not Black Panther 2? Now it's sadly clear.
