Eh, not really feeling that episode. Kathy Bates' story was far too predictable and there was way too much Zoe and Franken Kyle. Misty and Myrtle (the two best characters) were absent and the next two best - Queenie and Angela Bassett - are stagnating right now.

Fiona's love story with the Axeman was boring as shit and we didn't even get a good sex scene out of it. Also wtf @ Fiona the witch not believing in ghosts?

Also, was that Mary statue in the tattoo parlor the same one that they used in Asylum?

So next episode he'll be alive again, right?

Yeah, probably. Death means nothing on this show so it's not shocking or surprising or interesting when someone dies because you know they'll be back in just an episode or two. It's really lame actually. :/

This show lacks any feel of real tension, and a lot of character moments just don't make sense.

I'm still enjoying it enough to keep watching, but a lot of times it feels very detached from itself plot wise.

Not really feeling the axeman story line.
I love this season but the one thing thats kinda bugs me is that all the characters live in the same house but they seem segrated from each other.
I noticed nan and the neighbor kid weren't in this episode at all.
Also hope we get to see more of the neighbor lady.

All the episodes feel like filler. I barely understand the motivations of any character. The acting is alright and the set pieces are fun but the plot makes no goddam sense.

Are the other seasons any better?

Zoe killing spalding seems a waste too, he's played by a really good actor so I hope he gets some use when they eventually brings him back

Are the other seasons any better?

Season 2 hit a crazy enjoyable mix of dumb crazy and genuinely good television, I wouldn't be surprised to hear they lost some writers in season 3. It's neither as accidentally enjoyable as 1 or well made as 2. Its just kinda funny and aimless atm.
