Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
Just predicting the inevitable.
Expecting a messy wrestling match with axe man tbh

And then gay sex before one of them dies just to check that box off.

You know it's coming. (Hurr hurr "coming")

Last we saw her she was complaining that his mum wouldnt let her anywhere near her.
I understand that shows with big casts cant include everyone in every episode, but the cast for this really isnt that big and the majority of the episode took part in the academy. Nan could have eaily shown up somewhere

I really don't give a shit about what happens to Madame Delphine but I'm annoyed by Queenie's lack of conviction in everything she does. She's almost as stupid as Zoe.

Yeah, the character writing has been really lousy this season, the motivations of the characters kinda don't make sense.

They seem to be really pushing the "These kids are so dumb." aspect of these young witches.

Decent episode, but as it stands right now this season is nowhere near as good as Asylum.

There have been some very strong episodes this season and some fantastic individual scenes, but overall it really isn't as good as Asylum. Hopefully things will pick up in the second half of the season.

aaaaaa fuck Delphine, I haz no sympathy for her, still cant get over the 1st few eps...

And why are people here complaining about the "convictions" of Zoe and Queenie... 2 outsider-type teenagers, that had shitty up-bringing with a lot of self conscious and social issues and REALLY fucked up self-deprecating powers...

hell, we should expect the teens in this show to make shitty decisions.

American Horror Story Season 4 Scoop

The Season 4 story will not be a “contemporary” tale like a majority of the current run, co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy reveals to EW.com — however it may stay take place in a similar location. “It’s either going to shoot in New Orleans or it’s going to shoot in Santa Fe.”

Santa Fe!! Santa Fe!! I hope they don't do New Orleans again. I want a Santa Fe period western with Jessica Lange as a frontiers woman who wears a coonskin cap! And they can do, like, Roswell type alien stuff. omgomg

If anything the fact Delphine had bonded with Queenie to the degree they had should have been enough of a reason for her to not bring Delphine to Voodoo Queen.

Delphine has had the most character development of them all to this point. Went from an evil woman crying over the fact a Black man had become President to actually not having it be such a big issue. Hell she's out at 3 AM eating burgers with Queenie.
In many ways they come across as kindred spirits just from very different times.

Voodoo Queen is going to end up being probably just as evil as Delphine was. Heck Delphine even warns Queenie on how she doesn't know just how evil Voodoo Queen is.

Man, I was really liking this season but the way they just take characters all over the fucking place just doesnt make sense and it's kind of annoying.

Axeman is kind of boring, but I get what they were trying to do with it. Just doesn't work out as great in person. I could see how it would look better/cooler on paper. Definitely cool that he's based on a real person.

I've liked everything else. Not sure where all the hate is coming from. I guess there hasn't been too many big moments in the last couple of episodes, but there were plenty of episodes like this from the past two seasons that served just to move the plot forward a bit.

This season is really starting to lose me.

The last two eps have been pretty lousy.

This Axeman garbage is a snoozer.

Yep, the only thing that can save this season is the witch hunter assaulting the house and the witches trying to fight him. I'm sure that will even suck. This really went to hell when Zoe basically was shown to be the supreme.

Absolutely, I have no idea how they're playing the 'jazz' theme because its really stupid if they're serious but not funny at all if they're being ironic. Everything about this season just kind of sucks

While I think it's dropped some in quality and that I was probably enjoying Asylum more at this point, it still hasn't dropped to the unfathomable and unwatchable depths of Murder House.

And I really liked this past episode much more than last week's. So I'm completely fine.

Ryan Murphy said that no one has guessed who the Supreme is. I don't know if he's referring to the characters or the viewers but it implies that it isn't Zoe.
It's probably Zoe :(

I guess I'm doing it wrong because I thought the scenes with Axeman and Fiona were a pretty great homage to a noir romance. It was completely pulp novel in every way. Say what you want about the plot, this episode looked amazing. Lighting, framing, sets. Sickening.

I thought the zombie empathy was a pretty cool twist but they lost me at the threesome. I also agree that queenie fucked up. They were becoming big girl friends forever :(

I never got to see asylum but I'm liking this season more than murder house.

She did, and made a remark that he's "not the same boy" etc etc before force-banging him ?/

Yeah, I know she said you're "not the same boy," etc. It just doesn't make sense in retrospect that there was no mention of tattoos or fucking huge scars. It would have been better writing if she noticed a tattoo then, and then was explained at the beginning of this episode.

She knew every detail of his body because of the constant molestation. It makes sense.

These weren't fucking stealth tattoos. Maybe I subconsciously judge people with tattoos, but I notice them instantly unless they're covered up. Even so, I'd expect someone to be exceptionally aware of physical changes to someone they thought was dead and presumably ID'd at the morgue.

What makes you think she didn't notice them?

She could have noticed them theoretically, but the fact that there was no specific mention until this episode makes it seem shoehorned in. I'd go back and check to see if he actually had tattoos in the earlier episodes but I'm too lazy.

Don't take this as a serious criticism of the show, either. I've been a fan since season 1 (before it was "murder house"), this is just playful nitpicking.

So the whole threesome with two former dead people because you have a killer vag thing ....lol

The last two episodes have definitely felt like they were more set up than anything. Still digging it though.

I mean, I understand why most of the character's changing characteristics and attitudes.
But for Zoe, she was like boom, so suddenly. I was shocked that
she killed Spaulding

And my biggest complain is the mud. It is too powerful. It likes cheating in this season.

Episode was so boring. Zoe's characterization is so fucking weird or maybe its the acting. Aside from Angela Bassett this season has been pretty disappointing.

Oh, when she said that I immediately thought they'd given him a different penis, ie cut or uncut
Tattoos would make more sense, but like others have said she would have mentioned them. It's just sloppy writing

I really didn't like or buy quenie selling out Delphine. I have to tell myself that the gumbo voodoo lady fed her mind controlled her or something.

My problem was some stuff like Cordelia being so unsurprised Madison was alive, amongst other things of this nature.

Show's amazing though, but there are some weak writing displays on occasion. Though that's just par for the course for the series/Ryan Murphy shows.

Queenie's motivations don't really make sense. One episode she is teaming up with Fiona to frame Myrtle and being told she could be the next Supreme, then two episodes later she abandons the Coven, because the lady she knew was a horrific terrible racist who did lots of horrible things who she had previously been friends with and risked her life to save told her about about a horrible thing she had done.

I'm sure Queenie will suffer a terrible death once Delphine gets a hold of her.

Jessica Lange gets what Jessica Lange wants.

She wanted to do a musical number and have a singing back story in Asylum. She got it.

She wanted a romance in Coven. She got it.

This makes sense, because this episode was terrible. It felt like they changed the script halfway through the season, and now everything is just a mess.

One easy example
is them killing off the butler guy. They decided to make the axeman get the protective obsession with Fiona instead, and they figured they can't have both.

I've enjoyed everything else but this episode lost me. Bigtime. Pretty much irredeemable no matter how I look at it. I was sad to see Madison go at first, but now I think she was better off dead.

Get through this Axeman stuff immediately and save Queenie's character and we'll be back on track.

God's had his chance.
So far i still think Coven shits all over Asylum. Season 2 was just one long hot mess of retardation.

Queenie selling out was weak as hell...
Zoe (not the character really so much as the actress) is fucking ter-aaaahhhh-bull. The worst fucking part of both seasons she's been in. Just fuckin awful. The heel turn of being utterly inept and anti-social and scared and flighty to all of a sudden the big bad witch who don't give no fucks and just stabs a guy in the chest? Because... why exactly? he didn't even fuckin kill anybody... i don't even...

Hilariously enough Blind Witch being born again hard was my favorite aspect of the last episode. "Kill her once. Kill her good. Kill her dead." LoL ... christ.

Wasn't there talk of Warlocks and stuff>? the male witch covens? .. really hope we see some of that shit soon. Oh .. and i loved the response from voodoo girl about the acid attack - "What do i look like? The taliban??" someone had to fuckin say it..

Zombie 3way for the win.

I have a theory about the change in her character if anyone is interested in hearing it...

I think Cordelia charmed her with a potion to act in her place. To be her eyes as well as the "muscle"...
