Sony has actually gone up in my estimations. They realized the game is a complete failure and more importantly is giving everyone a refund. Shame others don't do this, they just shame you into playing their game.

They had committed to a pretty aggressive roadmap for future updates. So they could either refund everyone (a few million dollars), or sink ANOTHER few million dollars into development to appease the few players the game had. Easy decision, from a financial prospective.

I think F2P is given, but I hope they take some time with it. According to those who've played it (no personal experience, not my kind of game at all) the fundamentals are solid, but the modes/maps/whatnot could use some more work. I doubt they'll change the roster much though.
