bh:you can track people from miles away (really good vs enemies with blink so you dont have to worry about them jumping you) and cast shuriken from a safe distance, its not that great

Tape over half the sensor with a nonclear tape. This will reduce the tracking liftoff distance by the amount you cover.

Almost useless. Disruptor may get enough use out of it to put him under 'average', but not because of glimpse, that spell has 1800 range already. Longer range on kinetic field is nice, but most of the time you're casting that after glimpse, or on top of stunned or slowed enemies which should give you enough time to close that 200 range anyway. The extra damage is insignificant; even locking someone in a full duration lvl 3 ult only adds 60 damage before reductions. I'd rather go for aghs, euls, force, atos, gem, pipe, vlads, solar crest, glimmer cape, lotus orb, veil, hex or refresher.

I don't play a lot of bounty hunter but I can't see it being impressive on him either, especially since he'd much rather build those mana boots into greaves.

More specifically, it is the most tea on heroes that are vulnerable (squishy, slow, channeling spells) and have short-medium range spells. It's nice on ogre, but he doesn't mind being in the thick of it too much. Meanwhile, the further the fuck away from teamfights shadow shaman and crystal maiden can be, the better.

The damage amplification only really comes into play on skywrath, lina, lion, ogre, wd and shadow demon.

Seems like a good item after greaves, bounty can't stand anywhere near damage without dieing and the 200 range would be very helpfull

For the same price you could get a blink though, which is almost always the better option if you're not taking the energy booster out of arcane boots.

Absolutely, I was just saying those are the only supports where the extra damage is significant enough to even recognize. For most heroes the extra damage is less than an autoattack's worth.
