Monster flying ship?
Treehouse Live is truly the best idea Nintendo had in ages. As pissed as I was after the Digital Event yesterday, today's show so far with #FE, FAST and now Xenoblade really makes me feel a lot better about Nintendo's showing.

AFAIK there are all kinds of quests, also mundane ones, but you don't trip over these, you take them at the quest board in Blade HQ.I haven't really been around the import thread. How are the side quests in this one? A lot of the MMO fluff like in XC? More engaging? Less engaging? About the same?
Same.I will love this game just for running around and looking at the environments.

All Day 1 Treehouse videos have been uploaded to their official channel, so if you missed anything or want to watch something again from Day 1, use these links. It's all in the OP as well.
I actually like MMOs so a single player one with some online trappings is fine by me. The world looks engaging enough.
I'm not sure how I'm going to survive Xenoblade and Fallout 4 back to back months. Holy heck, my life is forfeit.

indeed. As I said yesterday - despite my disappointment with the Digital Event, Treehouse Live is still worth watching. The Treehouse people are so nice and passionate it shows!
The problem wasn't and isn't the format - just the content.
What I don't like is that lone monitor playing the XCX trailer being ignored by everybody. :-(I love the look of Nintendo's booth filled with pixel images of SMB3, SMW and SMB. :')
Is there a link for the Xenoblade section? That started right when I was leaving work so I missed it on my drive home.
same here. I plan on getting Black Ops 3 and Tomb Raider on November as well. fml, right?

woops
The content and the overall direction. The pacing simply wasn't right. It seemed they simply followed last year's blueprint without truly understanding why it worked. Low key moments can be totally fine as long as they're framed properly, they're actually necessary in a good show, but they had too many low key moments and did a terrible job framing them. And they would have had stuff to frame things with Devil's Third, Fatal Frame, FAST, Project Treasure and what not. It's great that they hired Henson for the puppet stuff (which was really great), but they should have hired a good director for the whole thing as well.indeed. Localization is a bitch.
If they could leave the Japanese voice overs with English subtitles it would be enough for me and it would be done in 2 months MAX !
I wish they could just put the rest off the localization through DLC , just to speed up the proces lol.
Everyone who's ever complained Yoshi games are just retreads of Yoshi's Island: Yoshi's Wooly World was made to soothe your angst. So good.
