This example doesn't really offend me -- It just looks kind of like a typical skinny anime looking teenager and doesn't allude to being specifically or necessarily underage. She could plausibly be in her 20's.
The stuff that bothers me is the really young looking stuff.
Please remember that a lot of times when Samurai_Heart (and sometimes others) posts lots of pictures, they're not necessarily things they (or anyone here) bought, just consolidating pictures from news/blogs/tradeshows, and those pictures are not representative of the buying habits of people in this thread.
I just follow a pretty simple rule for my collection: no matter the age the character looks, no swimsuits figs (or underwear figs); more than being creepy, they're typically just boring, IMO. A guideline for me that follows from that rule is figures with more clothes showing than skin.
As for stuff like that bikini Vita being tolerated... I certainly have no interest in that figure, but it doesn't offend me (beyond being a waste of an opportunity to get an actual good Vita figure). And I'm sure I'm not the only one here who, while not interested in nor "approving" of that (or similar) figure, isn't really creeped out by it.

I was going through my bookmarks and I checked Navito World (I bought Maiko madoka from them).
But they have her listed for a September release instead of July (which is what MFC is saying). So a two month delay I guess?

Lucina is 6,800 yen...so yea some figmas seem more expensive these days.
I wish the figma horses weren't a gsc exclusive, a discount would have let me get the three I wanted. I got one chestnut and one white and after the shipping it's like 10,000yen :/

Haven't posted in a while because I've been super busy with Christmas stuff. Will cross post my build updates from the Gundam OT.
PG Unicorn: Still need to find someone to fix the leg LEDs, but confident that won't be an issue. Ran into a problem with the right bicep to elbow joint. A slight mismolding caused the joint to ruin the polycap and no longer hold the arm. Even Future/Masking Tape cannot fix. HLJ will be getting me replacements for the two pieces that make the joint and the polycap, so no big deal, but full picture review is on hold until then. Will likely still decal in the meantime. Whole kit is actually built now, so I'll probably write a build review at some point.
MG Turn X: Build is done and almost finished with decals. Will also do a build review because I adore this thing and want to talk about it. Will write that sometime soon.
HG Build Burning, MG Turn A and RG Wing Zero EW should all arrive sometime next week.
Transformers MP Ultra Magnus is coming in that shipment as well. So psyched for that toy. Transformation looks super clever and sculpt is pretty amazing. Can't wait to mess around with it.

I realise that not everyone has the same taste ( this is even more obvious in this thread ) , but the figure in the link is nothing that isn't pictured in anime ( pool or beach episode ) . Heck it's not even depicted in a sexual way ( i'm talking about the nanoha vita swimsuit fig )
From my point of view ( and i'm not even someone who post much in this thread even if i read every post ) , isn't it fine to discuss of figures and what we think about the prices , the quality as so on as long as there isn't anything wrong with the character or the view of said character. There isn't more than anything that you wouldn't see in an anime episode.
And i write this as someone who doesn't buy any of the beach queen stuff or similar. We use NFSW tags when necessary and the thread get self regulated just fine.

Luckily Nendoroids nowadays always seem to come with a spare joint. I did snap a Petit Nendoroid's stand holder thing which I need a replacement of. And I need to repair Binchou-tan's large ribbon which also snapped off. Need to drill and pull the joint out.

got a Freddy Krueger Bishouju for christmas. I accidently dropped the base though and the magnet came out. Anyone know what kind of glue would be good for sticking the magnet back to the base???
I read a guy that suggested using a heated pin to pull it out. I'll do it later when there's a nice quiet moment. Her head always did feel a bit wobbly so it may have been a weak joint from the beginning. The transparent plastic they used may not be as sturdy as the usual Nendo plastic.

Unless your Japanese and it's your culture it should bother you, nothing wrong with that as sexualized children bother me too, but I'm a 39 year old American man that lives in Scotland. Legal in the states is generally 18, legal here is 16... Am I supposed to call them all child molesters and get burned at the stake like in the wickerman?
I don't like nendo's, pumpkin headed chubby super deformed dwarfs don't appeal to me in the slightest, but about half of the collectors here do like them, so I just look at 'em and move on. Little girl figures are the same, but in their defense nobody posts the sexually explicit ones, and most of the figures that you might find questionable might not be so in the context of watching what ever show it came from.
So in short it's tolerated, like many things on GAF, because we are a collection of people from various places, with various tastes, you have to have an open mind and let others be as free to post as you are, the diversity of this place is why I keep coming here, and the fact that the moderation would shut this thread down if it did go to far isn't lost on anyone here...

This is something that bothered me for a while too, like you I don't collect anime girls, nendos etc. but I am indeed a figure collector and some of those pics make me uncomfortable, for a while I was proposer of creating a separate thread for us "rare birds" that collect and like figures but from other variants that what 98% is posted here, but I don't think we are that many and such thread will die pretty quick, so you learn to do what I do, you see something creepy or a post about a figures that are not your cup of tea and you skip those post like they never existed, heck I am pretty sure they do the same when a hot toy, mecha or super hero figure is posted.
Actually in the US the age of content is typically 16 or 17 and I wouldn't call someone a child molester for that, no.. There's a huge difference between that age range and the 10-13 age range I'm seeing on some of these statues.
Normal people may see this at the pool but wouldn't take a picture and hang it on their wall. There's something very strange about owning such a statue and I'm having a hard time understanding it. There are very few people in this country who would see such a statue on your shelf and not look for the exit.

I think I know the sorts of figures you refer to but one particular one that bothers me is a figure of clearly a loli who is topless/mostly nude. she has basically a childs body not even curves and completely flat chest. I think she also had black hair buns. Yall probably have seen the figure online.

Everybody has a different comfort level with this stuff. For example, there are two Hachikuji figs on the previous page: One of them crosses the line of what I'm comfortable in my personal collection (GSC), and the other one I'm now pissed about missing the chance to buy at a really good price (Koto). I'm not going to judge people if for liking, wanting, or owning the GSC one though. People should do what they enjoy. So long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, who cares?
