I have the best designed house in the game.
Your blog is substantially less interesting without pictures to back up all this hyperbole.

Ew, gross.They aren't even kawaii.
You're killing the ship. You must study fishing to impress your would-be waifu.I don't understand any of this.

.I've noticed most people who call themselves pro tend not to be. Just a general statement I wanted to make, nothing directed at you, you're probably super pro

What server are you on? We have a GAF Free Company on Ultros.Hi everyone,
Been playing since start and it's been great. Haven't been this excited over an MMO since the first 4 years of WoW and I've pretty much tried most of the MMOs since. Been a guildmaster / officer in most games I've played. Usually play tank / healer. Still playing FFXIV ARR actively and I don't see myself quitting anytime soon. However, I find myself in a situation where it's difficult to get myself into raiding with my current (and currently first and only) guild.
So, I'm looking for a guild and I wonder if anyone would know one that would suit me:
- Gf
- Job
- Other hobbies
- European timezone
- English / Finnish
Regardless, I'm able to put a lot of time into the game. I'm looking for a guild that has a active community (beyond FFXIV too even) and the average age would preferrably be around 30. For raiding I expect people to focus and put 110% to the effort... you know, focus without taking things too serious. Basically, I'm looking for a group of people who are laid back and active, and who know how raids and raiding works without any of the drama - as I'm too old for that sh*t.
Thanks,
Ultros isn't great if you play during Euro primetimes.
Lalas have no souls
But I'm on during Euro primetime, so it must be great.
Quantity over quality. You alone can't carry 7 people in T9. (Or can you?).
Hoping they decide to hand over raid encounter mechanics to someone else for the Heavensward raids :<
Lv. 35 now. Should I do fate run or continue with questing ? (First char)
Genuine question: why?
I like that you still think of me at times like this. I've chosen, but it seems the option isn't on the table.
Dreadwyrm Claws, Carboncoat, Carbontwine, Dreadwyrm Tabard of Aiming
Can assume it's because too many mechanics are reused from earlier bosses, so when you see them again you know how to handle them and it's not a surprise. It's not even that the mechanics are bad exactly, it's just that they don't change them up enough for them to be a challenge to figure out and if you've dealt with them before then it's not too hard to deal with them again.
Every fight doesn't need it's own 100% unique mechanics, just when multiple mechanics are reused then some of them need to have some different element to them that makes you have to think again rather than know exactly how to handle them when you first see it.
T10 feels fresh for my group for now, even our tanks (and especialy OT) are not bored for a change, that's something no ?
But this is my first raid level mmo, so every mechanics is new to me x) I'm still waiting for a Simon says boss where you have to perform the correct dance to evade damage.
Welp, RiP bards who hoped this was in an earlier turn(this also means our helm is likely t12). This is from CL's kill.
That's not true at all!
See? Now you made her cry.

So now that I made it through Qarn, any reason I should be worried about Cutter's Cry? We wiped twice on Qarn since no one knew what to do on the first boss at first, but after that it was no problem. I keep waiting for another difficulty spike after Bray, but I have yet to see one.
Oh you must be joking. -heavy sigh-
Is it too late to go Ninja?
Oh boy... both tanking and bard armor are T13, it's like YoshiP decided to shit on me all over again.

Given the low amount of encounters found at the endgame, it got pretty surprising by the end of final coil how many mechanics were reused. T13 mechanic spoilers:Genuine question: why?
From what I hear tank Ironworks body is actually good

That's not exactly how it works.Do the Japanese not use Duty Finder often / not do much PvP? I don't think I've ever successfully managed to get into a duty during Japanese prime time. Even with the appropriate region filters set.
So is Carbontwine only available in Turn 3? I liked that you could upgrade gear through a few different methods with sol gear. Did they finally have enough of players not playing the way they want and are now demanding players do all of coil to get their gear now?
That's not exactly how it works.
There are several data clusters which contain X servers. There are clusters for Japan (the recommended servers for Japanese players) and clusters for NA and EU respectively. That means majority of each regions' players are in their own data clusters and have no interaction with other regions.
The filters aren't region filters. Those are language filters. What you are doing is restricting your duty finder search to those who have checked the Japanese language filter in your NA/EU data cluster.
This is the exact same way it was in 2.2. If you want your handouts then gotta wait until 2.5.
Thinking there should be more than one way to get items isn't asking for a handout.

"I want the best gear by doing something that isn't the hardest content in the game. The reason I want this best gear is for reasons since I won't be doing the hardest content and thats all the gear is good for anyway."
Please tell me if my analysis is off base.
Yes, I want gear by doing something other than spamming dungeons. Add harder hunts, or something. Just because they think the only way to do "hard" content is with dungeons just shows their lack of imagination. Heck, FFXI even knew that it't hardest content could be done though both instanced and non-instanced events.
Rolling on sands in ST now is a fucking crapshoot. Everyone rolls on it and no one is happy.
