I thought they got better with it as the main scenario went along, the scions were generally of doing their thing and they call you in at last minute as the "nuclear option", but they still managed to get stuff done. The lead up to Leviathan and such had them seeming fairly competent from what I recall.

The lead up to Leviathan was when they were at their most competent, if you ask me. Since then though, they've mostly been hanging around the Rising Stones, and handing out quests from time to time.

I mean, I guess there was that business with the Sylph dopplegangers, but that's about all they've done since then. Keep in mind, the Leviathan quest was almost a year ago, that's a lot of time to sit un-used.

That pirate wench has more balls than the lot of them. I was amazed when she just pulled out a gun and shot that Sahagin dude.

So here's a question to crafters who sell their services (on the party finder and elsewhere):

If someone wants something made and they provide you with all the HQ materials, and while crafting the item using their materials, you disconnect and fail the craft. How do you go about handling the situation?

Never log in again.

Guess it depends on what you're crafting. I'd probably buy mats and craft it again and take the loss even though it sucks. End of the day, they gave you mats and you lost them, regardless of the reason. If you can't afford what you're crafting as a service, you probably shouldn't be crafting it.

To anyone who's played the PS4 version, how well would you say it compares to the PC version? In terms of playability and looks.

Got my first (and probably last) wellfare carbontwine after two books dropped from rank S. Went to my Magitek Bow. It looks so nice dyed...I need those metallic dyes though.

So I'm a recent sub to this game, and while I kinda know what I'm doing I also don't. How long usually is the wait to get into some of the more populated, gaf-fc supported worlds? I just wanna find some cool people to play with, but all I have right now is a level 18 in Faerie and a level 15 in Jenova. Completely willing to start new in a new world, but it seems like the popular ones never open up.

Just keep checking back at super random times to make a char in Ultros. Usually not peek play times. Sometimes super early or really late on off days, espically not weekends. You'll get it!

Server full? Try in the dead of night. That seems to work often enough.

Oh oh oh tank drop only in T10 tho :<

Will the Puff of Darkness minion just fucking drop already!? I don't care if I don't get it the first time, I just want to roll on the damn thing at least once

Done with Odin now. I never thought the poor guy will be more boring of a fight than Leviathan.

Speaking of Leviathan, yesterday I saw for the first time that a tank with Briny went away from the stack into a corner so that AOE healing for the phase transition wouldn't put unnecessary stacks on healers
...This is so obvious!

Unless im mistaken the PS4 versions runs on PC ultra settings @ 1080p with a variable framerate.

Playability is excellent, at least as a White Mage anyway, the dual shock is good but please plug a keyboard in to communicate as the virtual keyboard blocks the entire screen.

I have both versions. There is no way the PS4 runs at PC's ultra settings. High is closer to it.

According to digital foundry the only differences are a reduced AF and FXAA on PS4.

Of course increased framerate and resolution help too on PC.

The conclusion of this article states that PC is still the better option, but PS4 is very good. Which it is. But also keep in mind, this was done in April of 2014. Several patches have come out since then and I've found the PS4 performance to suffer bit by bit. Don't even get me started on Hunts, FATEs or some dungeons which causes some framerate problems.

My wishlist for PLD right now, is mainly a slightly less boring rotation. Maybe access to another spell or two, so they can help heal or party mitigate while off tanking.

Can't really get more specific than that, seeing as I don't play that class much.
