Hey guys, so I recently aquired the Omnilex Animus, which stats should I boost with infusion? Can't find a guide
Crit and Determ. If two-stats are too expensive, add piety or even accuracy, both should be equally insignificant for a scholar though, but at least somewhat useful unlike spell speed.
Determination takes priority because the fairy also benefits from it.

Just started playing this game a few days ago and I'm at the point where I have to do a dungeon, Sastasha? I'm playing DPS and I can't get into a party. I waited 30 minutes before deciding to just say fuck it. Do I have to play this to progress the story? I really don't think I'm going to wait another 30 minutes to maybe get into a party. I like the game, but this is insane.
Yeah, you have to. There is a lot of DPS in the game, so the duty finder will take a while to find you a group. If you can convince a tank or healer to do the dungeon with you, the duty finder will take less than 5 minutes, tho.

It's funny to hear how surprised DPS players are when they group with you (when you're a tank) and you get a group 1-2 seconds away from pressing the button.
That's at least a third of the reason why I play as a tank. I hate waiting 30 minutes for a group.

Same reason I play as a healer. Whip out the PLD if Im REALLY in a hurry.

we made it to add phase on our first night of T12. Pretty happy with that.

Watch them make us have to spread advantageous rules from other regions
So:
- There will be 80 types of cards from the start.
- You will be able to obtain some cards from the FF Portal App which launches this month (they're using the same algorithm)
- There will be multiple set of rules.
- Someone on twitter suggested adding a "looking for a triple triad partner" icon to the list of icons that you can display above the character's head, Yoshida liked the idea very much and said that will consult it with the staff
- You will be able to get cards from NPCs, dungeons and buy them by using GS points
- There will be no trading to prevent people from completing the full set just with gil. Trading will probably be added later when the total amount of cards increase
- You will be able to exchange duplicates of cards for GS coins

Chocobo info:
As you race, the rank of your chocobo will increase and stats will be randomly distributed. Sometimes it'll also learn abilities.
You'll be able to feed it special food etc. Once your chocobo reaches a certain rank, you won't be able to enter low rank races.
Once you reach a certain point you can make your chocobo retire and breed a new one which will inherit some stats from parents.
At the moment you will only be able to pair your chocobo with your other chocobos or pay to breed it with a Gold Saucer one.
They are planning to add an option to breed your chocobo with other players' birds in later updates.
As for the races, there will be multiple tracks with booster pads etc. Stamina management is the key for winning races.

They're now showing a minigame where you have to get to a certain high place while not being thrown off the course by bombs etc.
Gold Saucer minigames with low returns: Monster Toss, Cuff-a-Cur, The Moogle's Paw, Crystal Tower Striker
Most of the smaller Gold Saucer minigames are basically "push a button at the correct timing".
Cactuar lottery! #FFXIV Split into "Jumbo Cactpot" (weekly) and "Mini Cactpot" (daily)
Example Gold Saucer prizes: Chocobo Mask, Bunny Ears (costumes?), Adamantoise Mount, Fenrir Mount etc.

Just started playing again after a few months break.. is there an issue with controllers again? My left and right analog sticks have severe deadzones now and I have to push a direction all the way over to get it to register. Can't even have my character walk because it won't register the slight movement ;=; It also doesn't seem like the camera sensitivity option is working for controller either..
