Yup. Totally understandable when your old friends come back to game and you told them you would raid with them, but shitty to do it with 0 notice.
If anyone here has a WAR with T10-T12 experience and hopefully T13 dive-bomb practice looking for a static for FCoB + Alexander + Anything else (a bunch of us usually do new patch stuff together at 3am lol), let me, Asami (soarian), or Korra (mike d) know.

i'm probably going to download the trial out of curiosity to see if i can enjoy starting all over again
chinese new year event that's on the chinese version of the game
you can get a panda minion from few pages back
but apparently the chinese version isn't getting golden saucer because of gambling laws so i'd say we still get the better end of the deal
So the Chrysalis is the next Cape Westwind yeah? Waited 2 hours yesterday which ended in failure. (5 new people and one of them raged half way during the second attempt after they died).
On the bright side, fight is fairly simple providing everyone knows what to do. Plus that white world is cool.

Chrysalis is such a fun fight. It's a shame SE didn't add anything of worth [drop-wise] to the encounter, that way people would feel more encouraged to farm it. It's difficult enough to get people doing Odin, since all he really has is vanity armor.
Maybe they'll stick a Triple Triad card in there or something.
It would have that effect on many, I'm sure.Well that would make me run it a lot haha

Yeah it wasn't pretty, I don't know what the problem is but we can't have him dying every DB, his DPS is too important.

Ask the FC for help? Me and some others in a FC helped get a few people their clear for that fight.
I would have last night but was too tired to come on. (UK timezone so late night is the busy hours).
Going to try again in a bit, the real challenge is having the patience to wait on the DF lol.

The plague of catgirls on the FC continues to grow.
Hmm..T13 feels so much easier than the previous turns for me as a SCH..or for my whole static it seems. We tried for the first time a few days ago and have both P1 and P2 down already. Will work on P3 (which is supposedly the hardest one I hear?).
I am sure our total excitement over progressing so fast during our first evening will end in tears and frustration trying to get P3. Amirite?
Also, I am going to start sacrificing cat people from now on. The only loot I have to show so far from FCoil is a (much appreciated) Carbontwine...seriously, we have the worst luck with healer loot and Nin loot can go diaf..

Ugh, the Chrysalis is the worst. Went through three different groups before finally clearing it. Never running it again.
You have my condolences. Catgirls are the worst and I believe you're stuck with it until expac.
Then expect be flooded with those new dragon people race

I waited 160 minutes in DF and just cleared it.
It's quite easy if everyone is on the same page (hard in DF), just wish people would have said if they were new or not. Once we were all on the same page, it wasn't too bad. (main issues this run was someone LB3ing too soon and some folks not knowing how the orbs work).
Wasn't healing it but from what I saw, it's a fun fight for healers. A lot of precasting needed and keeping on your toes. If I do it again, it will probably be on my SCH.

I think we might beat it this week. Last phase seems pretty simple.

I still think Chrysalis is the best-designed fight in 2.5 but it's completely out-of-whack with the rest of the story content in terms of difficulty which was an odd choice for a mandatory fight with no drops. Maybe they'll add a Triple Triad card to it and there'll be a reason to redo it!
Yesterday during my first attempt at the fight with at least 5 new people in total, one of them said "It's a story trial, nothing to worry about" or something to that affect.
Proceed to wipe several times before the vote abandon happens.

I wish there were more reason to do it. It's a lot of fun with smart people.
We have like 5 new FCmates running through storymode. A bunch of us jump in to help them when they get stuck and it's like don't even worry we got this man. How the fuck does this fight go... damnit I forgot about meteors. Chrysalis is fun with a group of decent people, our FCmate was running it for almost 2 hours failing on DF alone apparently.
Setting the stage for a Haman v Baramoht heavy weight showdown. This one is for ALL of the clones.
It's not a super difficult phase, but the real difficulty of it comes from the enrage timer, I feel. You guys should have enough gear to not have to worry about it too much.
