You might not be able to get kicked since you're full group, but people can still report you to GMs and I'm sure many would if they saw a full group of 8 doing it.
The queue times + actual match times makes me think it would not be very efficient before GMs eventually got involved either.
Have SMN and WAR solo the cube and put the BLM on the sphere.
I'm not positive, but if Frontlines is like Labyrinth of the Ancients/Syrcus Towers, then it probably doesn't consider eight players a "full group"

As long as you keep that open you don't really need to keep track, it does it for you.

Not sure why, your OT could have been handling the ghosts to ease up a bit on the healers...
Defiance off for the DPS needed for 1 add when we were right on the line.
It's less about actively using both tanks (though it's nice to have one for Nael, one for Ghosts) but more about the security of it. It's also not like an extra DPS speeds it up noticeably.
Really though, it's more aimed at the groups that do single tank to even meet the DPS checks of the fight. That's just ... meh.
We learned it solo tank and usually do it solo tank when we farm, but we have done two tanks many times as well. Prefer solo tank myself but it doesn't really matter to me, I'm not doing the heavy lifting. Two tank method is far more salvageable though obviously. Solo tank is a wipe if they miss a CD or something unfortunate happens. Two tanks you can recover and go solo tank for the rest of the fight.
Related to my previous post, 3 materia purchased, 3 successful melds. That first time meld on a 29% Savage Aim IV made my heart hurt though. Not sure I can do another two of them haha.

Guy was definitely high class. Yelling about how all the dps stacked wrong when the 270 degree arrow hit him in the face. Also got mad bonus points for walking right into the wall at one point (read as: not slide, literally walked right into it).
PLD 49; challenge log reset and LLDR tomorrow should push me to 50. No idea what then, but I'll finally be able to do tuxedo glamour.
Also T6 is now kind of boring. Even backwards.

It's just been awhile since I've done homing missiles, or T8 for that matter. I can only blame Folox for wipes.

On the whole one tank strat.... yeah, sadly far too many DPS out there just cannot seem to put out the numbers needed for T9, regardless of gear. I suspect there are just far too many people that just press buttons semi-randomly, without understanding the proper rotations for their classes.
It's frustrating, since it has derailed a fairly large chunk of the T9 groups I've jumped into. (A large part of why I haven't pugged that fight very often these past few months.)

Mind explaining the rationale behind this distribution?
Currently, we have our PLD tanking the cube. We believe that the enhanced awareness trait (extended duration of 25 secs) from the base class will be ideal with mitigating critical hits.
Also, does it matter which caster is dpsing the sphere? Either way, it's inherent magic resistance buff will render both at a major disadvantage.
It looks like they finally implemented the character renaming service to Mogstation!

Nah, I'm not very good as a DRG. Single target DPS is okay, but it falls apart when there are a lot of targets. I can do it, I've gotten to final phase as a DRG, but it's never very comfortable. I usually go as STR-War, which unfortunately really isn't a option when I'm running with Punchi.
Also hurts since so many people do Single Tank, ugh.

As expensive as they are, I'm kinda tempted to see if I can nab myself a large house before the year is through. With the devaluations, I reckon those lots should be somewhere around 50 million on my server by Christmas. I want to try and challenge myself making the gil as quickly as possible. >_<
Downed T9 like 20 times yesterday to gear ourselves before going to T10. We saw like 5 SCH books and I got none even though I'm the SCH of the static because I already have Nexus. We got everything we needed for the static aside from BRD bow, for which I'm second in queue. I got the BLM staff at least, will come handy for Roulette expert I guess.
