I don't think any battle theme comes close to the first phase of Shiva. Holy fuck that is so good. I think it falls apart after she does Diamond Dust.

The worst part is you can't even really understand half of what she's saying.
So, T9 spear dropped for me, and that got me thinking about how to keep my DRG class up to date for upcoming content. Long story short, I've got two more pieces of Tank Poetics gear I'm going to buy, then I'm moving on to grab DRG/STR gear. What I'm wondering, is what I should be prioritizing first.
Option 1: Body Pieces, specifically to replace the crappy Soldiery pieces? (Most the Coil pieces aren't all that much better, even if I could regularly farm T9 for the body piece.)
Option 2: Accessories, I can use them on the Strength build of my Warrior, so it'd be double the value.
Side note: I'm also working on ranking up in PVP. The 110 DRG PVP pieces are a bit light on accuracy, but with a little mixing and matching they should be good for everything save for Final Coil. This would only be a stop-gap however, and later for vanity. (Probably mostly for vanity, considering the time it'll take to grind this out.)
Additional side note: Yeah, with the DRG buffs, I'll probably keep that as my primary DPS class. I'm still leveling monk, but between leveling, gearing, and learning, it'd be a long time before I was a viable Monk. I'm already a viable DRG, and with the penalty for positionals being reduced, and Magic Defense being increased, the class should be a lot less frustrating to play.
Besides, gotta get back to leveling my alt.

PS: Keeping positionals in last phase of T9 = Living on the edge! D:

That's cheating, you can put anything to Answers and it is now important and dramatic.
Are you able to decide anything on your own without external input?

Except no one but you has investment in your character, or can predict the future and see which job you'll be more likely to get asked to go into FCOB as. I mean, in the end it's just a delay of a month or two going down either option before getting to the other option. Serious input? I would go gear your DRG with left side pieces. Progression tanks tend to go full fending or Ruby accessories so the chances of you getting to use them in FCOB is slim.
i112-114 so far has been the minimum for "clear" T10 PFs, so getting your DRG past i110 would increase it's eligibility to get into stuff.

That's what I was inclined to do already, thanks for the input in any case.
I might also add that I was deliberately trying not to discuss anything that might cause an argument. I actually had to stretch a bit, since it seems like, "EVERYTHING," I bring up leads to a debate/argument/mocking derision, somehow.

I saw one looking for a DPS rep for T12 final phase, several for a single rep for T11, and of course a bunch of T10s. They're there, and they will probably increase as the holidays come up.
I see T11 actively on PF on excal, an FC mate apparently picked up a T12 PF group and they very nearly cleared.
No one can really judge how much you like DRG, WAR or STR WAR but you, so trying to accurately decide a way for you to lean towards is kind of impossible?
STR PLD was reserved for a GAF party but they didn't give me directions on where to go. I even had fireworks.
Yeah, except the stated goal was to keep DRG up to date for current and future content. Granted, I should have specified that I'm not really planning to take my DRG into Final Coil anytime soon. Hadn't really considered it, since most raid groups have been actively avoiding DRG until very very recently.
So, basically, looking to keep my DRG ready for the next set of Primals, CT3, or whatever they throw out next, since I can't always jump into groups as a Tank.
Then it doesn't even matter what your DRG wears. BiS is an afterthought. Wear whatever doesn't get you booted from the party.

Oh yeah, but Excalibur is a much larger server with a healthy "hardcore" population. A good chunk of the hardcore players abandoned Ultros.
