Hmm who could they get for him?

Who are Boston'a top prospects and what do you think of them?

Xander Bogarts would be the top prospect. No idea, but he can certainly hit more than the previous shortstops of the future. Seems to be able to play 2B and 3B as well.

Henry Owens are probably on the radar after that. De La Rosa could be a bullpen chip at best.

Middlebrooks and Iglesias are still good options for teams as well. Middlebrooks has shown he can play with the big league club, lacks patience at the plate so is questionable.

I think the price would be too high for the Sox to get him. Sox probably do have the prospects to get a deal done though.

I don't see the Sox trading Bogaerts. My guess the Phillies would want:

Bradley Jr, Barnes and Cecchini.

For Cliff Lee and Young? They would probably be including him there somewhere.

I don't see Bradley Jr. having much value from anyone, but he certainly could be a piece.

Do you guys think it would be worth moving Lee for those players? Bogaerts looks like he's a top 5 player and a power bat. Moving Lee, who is still a number 1 pitcher and his contract may be worth it.

Who know when he is going to fall off? Lee could also be the difference for a contending team. He has playoff success and would be a Number 1 pitcher on almost every team including the Phillies. He's also committed beyond this season.

It's going to be an interesting couple of days.

LOL

The Indians commentator just reverse cursed us. Said Jason Giambi's last Home Run was June 7th. Literally two seconds after he says that, Giambi hits a Walk Off Home Run to beat the White Sox.

He was pretty clearly safe, but that ball wasn't really deep enough to try coming home off of with Nava's speed. Still a shame to have a tieing run denied that late in the game though.

That baserunning was pure fucking shit (you dont score from second on a DOUBLE?!?!?!), but this ump is a fucking cunt. What a horrible, inexcusable week of umpiring against the Sox.

Doesn't help that the home plate umpire had to give Price strikes because he couldn't locate any of his pitches for the first out.
