Since learning about this game about 48 hours ago, I must have completely forgotten the name of the game five times even now I have to scroll up to remember the name.

Yep, that's a real criticism. Unfortunately a lot of the others aren't.

Lets be real, how many of those downvotes are for reasons that are far less rationally supportable?

It has to be recognized that Druckmann is basically the anti-wokists equivalent of JK Rowling!
That there's a whole lot of platform warriors who enjoy dunking on Sony.

Above all else, there isn't objectively that much to be angry about in that trailer. Personally I didn't think it was very good, but the way people are acting like its the second coming of Sarkesian/Mercante are overreacting in the most embarrassing way imaginable.

Its not race/gender swapping a pre-existing franchise. There is nothing overtly political or attempting social commentary in there. Conventionally good looking women with shaved heads are not an unknown concept; Persis Khambatta in ST:TNG in 1979, obvious figures like 80's Sinead O'Connor. all the way through to Charlize Theron as Furiosa recently.

What exactly is there to get upset about? And you all should know full-well that even if they had Troy Baker or Chris Pratt in the role, a good segment of the same nay-sayers would be equally down on the game warning that ND will probably do another bait-and-switch like they did in TLOU2, because they are just as fucking vengefully unhinged as the lefties they oppose.

Even if extension is wrong by 10-15% there is still a massive difference between games that are liked (Onimusha) and games that are disliked (Concord, Veilguard and this). And ALL kind of people have this extension installed, not only far right extremists. Polls are done on few thousands people (at most), yet they are usually quite close to votes done by millions.

I just proved to you statistically and mathematically why it's very likely to be wrong (the real number could be higher btw).

If I'm right, the variance between full YT population dislikes vs the extension users would likely exceed %10-15 by several orders of magnitude. It's really a badly taken sample from a statistical POV.

Most of the world doesnt subscribe to woke ideology, so yup, that 200k dislike is expected, ofc for ND most important are still 85k of likes, as long as they buy copy at launch thats 85k sales, so almost 4 concords. by the time game is out the likes might be much higher, maybe at like 250k even so yup, sales potential is definitely there.
On the other hand top ppl at sony have to wonder what if trailer would be met with positive reaction instead, that nasty like/dislike ratio is definitely lost sales, maybe not 70% lost sales, maybe its only 30%, still could be avoided, that is money on the table that is left, not made.

Concord official trailer had 8.4k likes and 84k dislikes. For every 1 like, 10 people disliked.
Intergalactic official trailer has 87k likes and 206k dislikes. For every 1 like, roughly 2.3 people disliked it.

I'm willing to bet that some of the Witcher 4 trailer was in engine, with the aid of some CGI towards the end, but who knows for sure, it is UE5 and supposedly running on an RTX 5090. At worst, I think the game will look very close to the trailer, and at best match what we saw.
