This game is going to be for GAF what Hogwarts Legacy was for the Purple Era.

A bunch of ERA actually did boycott Hogwarts hell I think the game was banned from even being mentioned on the forum.
Most of the haters here are still gonna be buying this game at full price.

It is extremely easy to draw conclusions right now.

Still, there is no need to be up in arms about something which hasn't been confirmed. And even if she is lesbian, that isn't enough to label the game woke since people who have that orientation do exist.

There were some stupid shit that Neil tried to implement for TLOU and Bruce stopped it, in TLOU2 since there was no one to stop him, he implemented those horrible ideas.

While I don't understand the level of dislikes this is getting, "insane" isn't the right word.

I'd say the fundamental issue is simply that some people have difficulty dealing with change (which is common/predictable in some people), in this case a character model changing from what they're used to / familiar with, to something they're not.

Of course, the hard reality is that there's sometimes no reason at all for things to stay as they've been in the past.

Assuming likes/existed at the time, perhaps 1 reasonable example/comparison would be when women were first able to perform in the theatre.

Never was a big fan of the uncharteds but if I were to pick one that would be the 4th game.
Never was a fan of Jack and daxter or whatever.
So, basically, while I do think that they are a top tier team/devs, I'm not exactly their biggest fan.

Regarding intergalactic now, I've already written on why I didn't like the trailer ('cause I think that the 80s theme is already played out to death/cliche/banal), the MC's looks are the least of my worries BUT, i do think that the director has reached insufferable levels of obnoxiousness.

One thing we can be sure of is that Intergalactic is not tlou2. The developers need to show more but honestly the fight with the robot made me think of horizon zero dawn, maybe the robot is difficult to defeat, maybe the producers demand intelligence from the player and not just press square.

Since when has every title released in a calendar year by a platform holder been expected to be a huge a success?
Since when has Sony/Playstation's performance being judged on Steam sales?
Since when did people forget that Asmongold is a huge PC fanboy with seriously questionable taste in games?

But to the larger point, and this goes to the title of the video... Sony are doing real fucking well financially. That's what they are doing. And a couple of flops are just the price of doing business.

The video wasn't that bad.
It simply pointed out that a game that was priced at $60 is bombing on steam. It doesn't reflect the PS sales.
However it is a good indicator that it's probably not doing well overall. Going by the amount of staff and who developed it. It probably cost a pretty penny to make.

I've no idea how well Sony are doing this year, If their making targets or above/below expected sales overall. You probably don't either.
But loosing 400 million isn't exactly a drop in the bucket for any company.

Also I don't think Asmon is a PC fanboy.
He's just very consumer friendly. That's why he has a large following.

No company wants bad PR or to disable their YT comments. Similar to other games with bad first impressions, they never recovered.... Outlaws, Concord, Veilguard. People firm on not liking what they saw or read in previews stuck with them and they avoided.

Look what happened when LOU2 leaks happened and gamers were laughing at the clips and making assumptions on the plot. ND hated it and went into damage control with Druckmann tweeting himself trying to put out the flames.

If the leaks came out and everyone loved what they saw making them amped up even more to buy it, ND would had loved the attention instead.

It's difficult to imagine the gameplay without knowing the environment, I don't rule out the existence of a metropolis as a stage and puzzles.
