Still stunned by the chase down block. Lebron may not hit all of his crunch time shots but he impacts the game like no one I've ever seen before. Truly the Tom Brady of basketball!

My hats off to Lebron and this Cavs team. Not a fan of either team but I had predicted Warrriors in 5 before the series began just because I didn't think Lebron and this Cavs team didn't have it in them but Lebron willed them. Much respect to the King and bringing a championship to that city. Lebron pretty much solidified himself as a top 3 player of all time tonight and the best sf ever.

After Game 2, LeBron averaged 33.2/11.8/8.8, with 2.8 blocks and 2.4 steals on 51.6 percent from the floor. Five games, in the Finals.

That's better then Jordan.

2015 Finals - 35.8 PPG, 13.3 RPG, 8.8 APG, 1.3 STL, 0.5 BLK,

2016 Finals - 29.7 PPG, 11.3 RPG, 8.9 APG, 2.6 SPG, 2.3 BPG

Played less minutes and had a higher FG% this year. Those are some crazy numbers.

That shit is straight legendary. And some people tried to argue Kyrie for FMVP... LeBron honestly should have gotten it last year.

Anyone have a gif of curry banging his head with his mouthpiece after he missed a wide open 3 in the 4th (or maybe it was after his retarded behind the back pass..?). Dude was going ham on his head, looked like some Gilbert grape shit

People are just so used to him putting up those statlines, they don't notice that he is doing it on the biggest stage. He's one of the most clutch players of all time and he isn't done yet.

I can't believe we were a dick punch away from (very possibly) having the series end in 5 and the narrative is the Warriors throttled the Cavs.

*IDK if the Cavs would have still won game 5, but everything was going against them before Draymond got suspended.

Lebron not having to make ALL the points allowed him to get back on defense for steals and blocks. It really would have been interesting to see how last year's finals would have resulted with a healthier team. Hindsight is lame, but fun to blather about.

Bron has mastered where to be on the court and picking his spots. That's why he stat stuffs so easily.

The poor FT and poor jumper overall really limit a Wilt like level.

But no player is supposed to be perfect. Even with a 99 handle and 99 jumpshot, Curry still has issues.

All of LeBron's stats in The Finals are nuts, clearly as he led in all five major ones. But the clutch blocks that he was able to pull off in each win were huge and stood out to me since it's not a part of the game that I usually consider as being that important, but clearly it was.

That's one of my favorite things about these playoffs, if Draymond hits just one less guy in the nuts the Warriors probably win a back to back championship.

do gsw fans blame draymond and his dickpunching for this epic collapse or will they keep loving him?

Lebron's blocks were crazy this series. I almost fell out of my chair on the chase down block on Iguodala. All the fans around me were like "what the fuck just happened?!?". He closed the gap so insanely fast.

Only speaking as one Warrior fan, but blaming everything on his suspension is some weak shit. We had three chances and couldn't get it done.

Draymond fucked up, but he'll learn from this. He's smart as hell and will end up as one of the greatest Warriors of all time.

That's why I never liked GSW, flopping, sure, but hitting people on the nuts? They are serial nutwhackers (remember Livingston on Nowitzki).

Lebron James had 16 blocks in the series? I thought he was past his prime?

Not past his prime, he's lost a bit of a step, but even if he's 90% of the freakish athlete he used to be, that's still more athletic and explosive than most of the guys in the league his size. The main concern for him going forward over the next 2-3 seasons is if he can get his jumper back.

LBJ elevated his already incredible game on the biggest stage and against the team many considered the best in the league over the past two seasons.

I don't see how the Cavs do not at least push the 2015 finals to 7 games with a healthy team.

I'm still amused that idiots tried to legit argue that Lebron's Finals last year wasn't all that good because he wasn't "efficient". When old-school peeps unfairly deride sports analytics shit hot-takes like that make you think for a moment that they're on to something.

Only for a moment though, granted.

Lebrons kid already pretty tall.

the man dropped 30 and almost had a triple double in a finals game 7. Draymond will have the people on his side.

Crazy to think had Draymond not stepped up the warriors would have got blown out

He is the warriors mvp and they needed him in game 5 but he was a dummy and went for a nut shot

GS dropped 3 straight and two of those games Draymond was playing. He dropped 32/15/9 in game 7 and they still lost.

Suspension or no suspension I think the Cavs win this.

Finally caught up with this thread after watching the game live. Gaddayum, I was shaking the whole time and I'm not even a Cavs or Warriors fan!

Props to everyone obvious, but special props to Draymond for being the only Warrior to show up for G7...and then give congrats to the Cavs after.

scooter waddup, thought cleveland had no chance?

bam bam turned into houdini with the quickness lol.

i'm eating crow. The biggest thing that shocked me was how Kyrie stepped up offensively. I figured his D would be so bad it woudl limit what he could do on offense. Having someone that could help LeBron shoulder the offensive load was huge for Cleveland. Conversely, I did not expect Steph to be exposed and played so bad on defense by Cleveland. Lue's gameplan to attack him for the most part took him off his game and, in part, took Golden St. off their game.

Lebron has been playing in the NBA since he was 18 years old. Constantly having deep playoff runs and NEVER missing games.

That dude has logged an awful lot of minutes, what we just saw these past two weeks, we may never see again. He's an insane physical specimen, but still human. Don't get me wrong, he can be a really good player for a long time, because he is so damn smart and has great vision and court awareness, but putting a team on his back like he just did? I'm not sure how many of those he has left.

If he wants to go chill with Melo, Wade, and Paul on some lucky team for a few years, I say go for it.

Melo has been cruising his entire career.

Lebron lost a step but he gained general defensive awareness. He gets it done just as well as he ever has. Absolutely the best player I've ever seen (saw MJ but I was too young to compare the two).
