Something I've not seen mentioned anywhere was Moffat saying he liked the idea of the viewer never being more than a few months away from having new Dr Who.
He also confirmed that next season (minor spoiler but figured I would tag it just incase anyone is incredibly sensitive to them)
Was just at a house party where two guys were insisting that Matt Smith was leaving at the end of Series 2/3/6/7/32/33/Otter/Whatever Keyser Called it to pursue "a Hollywood career."

Other bits of information:
Karen Gillan (who was also at this by the way) says she can't see herself doing other work while on Dr Who since its a full time job. When asked when she was leave she said she wasn't thinking about it.
Moffat said that the new daleks won't necessarily replace the old ones. Described the bigger ones as an "officer class." He did however say that a series doesn't necessarily need to have a Dalek episode
He and Mark Gattiss developed the idea of Sherlock while on the train to and from Cardiff. They had to stop talking about Dr Who on it incase other passengers overheard details. They ended up talking about their other two interests, James Bond and Sherlock Holmes. The two agreed that although its not a popular opinion their favourite of the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films were the (at the time) modern day ones. They said it would be great to see that happen again but when it did they would complain they had stolen the idea from them. He talked about the idea with his wife who was very enthusiastic about it (far more so than he thought she would be) and she got things rolling. He was asked what he thought of Guy Ritche's Sherlock Holmes film and said he liked it but wasn't so sure about Robert Downey Jrs costume
Described Matt Smith as being "a young man built by old men going by memory" :lol
The budget for last season was roughly the same as previous ones but a lot of that was due to merchandise sales etc.
Said that he simply writes things he wants to see and that if that also appeals to kids then perhaps its a reflection of his mental age. He also said people who think Dr Who should be simplified and dumbed down for kids dont understand the appeal of it to them.
On saturday he also appeared at a television themed Question Time. When asked about his thoughts on the lisence fee being reduced he said that "rubber green people" are really expensive and that most invasions on the show only consist of about three aliens and if the fee was reduced then we could end up seeing solo invasions which would just be embarassing for humanity :lol

Hmmmm
It would be neat but is it possible for time lords to change their gender?
Moffat was asked about the idea of the doctor being female and although said its possible for the future he didnt think it was right this time. The audience need to be reminded that after the regeneration it is still the same Doctor just in a new body. If The Doctor became female it might be harder for people to remember that.
A regeneration of his Daughter from another (future) timeline
Sally Sparrow (Amy now I guess) in someone else's head
Someone who turns out to be the big badguy(gal) that we dont know of yet
Something rubs me the wrong way about labeling one season into two. I hope this isn't the norm and season 8 gets back to the full 15 episodes or whatever. Hopefully BBC America runs it as two seasons as opposed to one.
Also I'm guessing the whole Egyptian Goodess on a train thing isn't going to be the christmas episode is it?

I think you might be on to something with Jenny, reportedly RTD wanted to kill her off, but it was Moffat's idea for her to be resurrected. It could also be easily explained that Riversong knew the Doctor's name because it would of been encoded in her DNA (Obviously a little far fetched but he's a time lord they have different makeup.)
Though we used a facial capture of Tennant in order to drive the old doctor, which was later developed further and now used for the Merlin dragon, so some of my earliest work here involved staring at John Hurt all day.
...because his raw captured animation makes the dragon look drunk.

Thought this might of interest: every week on his message board, Warren Ellis does a REMAKE/REMODEL thread. This week, his challenge: The Thirteenth Doctor.
Warren Ellis said:
A Time Lord can regenerate twelve times before dying. Thirteen incarnations in all.
Design the thirteenth incarnation of the Doctor.
You may additionally redesign the DOCTOR WHO logo, the TARDIS and other elements of the property should you so wish.
And like him, I agree the best idea - so far - comes from Ben Templesmith.
Ben Templesmith said:
The good Doctor is now in a vague military type jacket with a T-shirt underneath, that ideally changes logo/style each episode, showing off something cool and British or, I dont know, Sciency.
Gambon is a qualified private pilot and his love of cars led to his appearance on the BBC's Top Gear programme. Gambon raced the Suzuki Liana and was driving so aggressively that it went round the last corner of his timed lap on two wheels. The final corner of the Dunsfold Park track has been named "Gambon" in his honour.
Just watched Gridlock. Might be one of my favorite Who episodes thus far. Though I'm starting to feel like the show kinda relies on the whole "go somewhere, then go back several episodes later and see how things have changed" plot point maybe just a bit too much. Was this something old Who did a lot?

I don't think so, but it also tended to have a lot more time to cover a single story since most serials were at least 4 (generally half hour) episodes long.
Okay, just finished Daleks in Manhattan, and...I don't see why it gets so much hate, honestly. Yes, it was the weakest of the Dalek episodes thus far (I'm including the S5 one, since I've seen it already), but it certainly wasn't as awful as I was expecting, given the general opinion of it.
