I'm sorry you had to do that Adam..

But real talk.. I really would have paid to actually seen that conversation go down with you and colt trying to explain that shit. How'd you play it in all seriousness?

Well, like, we made the decision that we'd always be honest and use sex positive language. So, Colt just told him that Donald Trump was using a particular word for a woman's private parts. He was arguing that he had the right to touch that whenever he wanted. Then, we just explained to him how it is never, ever, ever appropriate to touch someone without their permission or to let someone touch you without your permission. All at an age appropriate level, of course. But, ya, it wasn't a fun conversation to have to have.

How could the tape not change views lol

Wisconsin is weird.

Because hatred outweighs morality now in this country, and it is only going to get worse.

Also Hildog, please dont mention Trumped Up Trickle Down economics or any cooked up zingers. Just stay looking presidential and let orange pepe do your work for you.

This is the person I want to be my president. The difference couldn't be more stark. It's amazing that this race has been so close.

This is why Republicans have spent 20 years trying to stop Hillary, they know she is a great candidate. Her only legitimate downfall is she lacks the charisma of Obama, Bill, Biden, Warren, Bernie, etc. That doesn't matter to someone like me, but to the average voter, who decides based on feelings, it matters a great deal unfortunately.

I can't believe Trump is going after Bill. They focus grouped this and it went horribly with undecideds.

There is literally no other play.

I'm not even joking. What else could change the course of this shit show now? Granted this might tip the nose of the plane already engulfed in flames heading towards a mountain further down, but nothing else is going to get it to change course, and maybe by some small unlikely miracle this turns the plane in another direction.

I mean, it'll still be on fire and all that but maybe it'll be less disastrous.

Honestly, after Friday, what other move could Trump make that would make a difference... *any* difference.

This was the only way it was ever going to go imho.

Nope, this wont change a damn thing.

Why do you think he keep going back on forth on this.

If Trump had invested in an actual campaign infrastructure - with market research and focus grouping - he'd know that the Juanita Broderick gambit will not end well for him.

But please, by all means.. proceed.

I can't believe Trump is going after Bill. They focus grouped this and it went horribly with undecideds.

They continue to poison the well with Conservatives who are obsessed with these narratives, but this will not work well with literally every other demographic in the country.

Good for their campaign supporters, bad for the campaign, and, ultimately, bad for the country.

I gotcha. Good job Dads.. :)

Ya know I might've misheard the "killing of ben ghazi" thing, so I went back and recorded it.

Trump is still going after GOP leadership. Glorious.

@realDonaldTrump:
"@eericmyers: @realDonaldTrump "Republican leadership" should have only one job: Help elect the nominee we voted for, Donald J. Trump."

"@CharleneOsbor17: @realDonaldTrump politicians don't count. It's the people. We are behind trump all the way to White House."

"@maidaa17: @realDonaldTrump GOP traitors! Not supporting U is voting for her, destroying America.

Forget your actual opponent, Trumpy. Continue doing stupid things.

This has to be the lead question at the debate, I would imagine -- or else:

AUDIENCE: What do you think about America's Infrastructure?

CLINTON: I believe in a comprehen--

TRUMP: --WROONG. Hillary Clinton is an enabler, people. And we will have the best bridges, the most beautiful bridges. I'm a builder. I build things.

ANDERSON COOPER: ...

Nope, this wont change a damn thing why do you think he keep going back on forth on this.

I think this just speeds up the flaming descent, personally, but it's really the only untested move (outside of focus grouping). What else can he do to deflect all the criticism?

I mean this almost certainly won't work... but there's that word before certainly that probably gives him hope. And his ego is really taking a kicking with people talking about him like he's the worst person in the world.

Is it bad that I just saw Trump's commercial with the stock hard-working Americans asking Hillary if they're deplorable and my answer was "at this point, yes?"

It's going on to be so weird for the Town Hall debate to be the one he goes nuclear on. I wonder if he will try and subvert expectations and just go in and try to be personable.

I am pretty sure Anderson Cooper will ask the question to Trump and give him a chance to explain himself at the onset. I think we'll spend a good 10-15 minutes on this at the start.

It could be people already thought the worse of him lol.

But the 44% and 47% is really bad.

Flip a coin 20 times. Every other flip is someone thinking worse of Trump due to this scandal. Until the 20th flip when you get one extra person who doesn't think worse of him, and then the counter starts again. That's devastating.

I mean that's his best shot, but right now he can't and won't imo. He's going to bring up Bill for god knows what reason.

Seriously he's so stupid to do that.

Will turnout in midterms ever swing back in the Democrats' favor? I know a big hunk of the Dem coalition is young millennials, and the young don't vote, but at some point they'll be at the age where people typically *do* vote.

Before the first debate, most/all of the anchors on CNN MSNBC looked tense as fuck.

This time, everyone looks relaxed, almost cheerful.

People become more conservative as they age too though. As they go to new communities their outlook and views change too.

Just during primary there was research out that the young millennials stop believing in socialism once they get a good paying job.

Dems have been unable to motivate minority voters for mid terms too. It really is up to the DNC, we need a good DNC head under Clinton. I would prefer a black woman.

Rudy already pivoted away from the talking point of "casting stones". If they can't even handle the pressure from Tapper and Todd on the Bill stuff, how are they expecting to do against her?!

I am literally disgusted, although not surprised, that these Conservatives are only disavowing because they no longer believe Trump can't win. All of these people belong in the basket of deplorables. Every last one of them. They don't care about what Trump said, only that it can hurt them. This, at its core, is the problem with conservatism, at least as it manifests itself within the GOP. It's an entire party that's built around "Fuck you got mine." The problem is, they're slowly realizing that they're not going to be able to constantly "get theirs" all the time, and they're acting out like a bunch of petulant children.

Oh, and also, fuck Donald Trump for making us have to explain to a 7 year old what "Grab her by the pussy" means. You bloated orange sack of shit. Oh, and fuck Donald Trump for being a racist, sexist, misogynistic, Islamophobe irrespective of if he wins or not. Fuck him because it's the right thing to do.

Amen

It's not so much as millenials aging into voting, as it is elderly voters dying and leaving the system entirely.

Old white voters vote heavily republican- largely around racial issues-, and since most are retired or not working they vote reliably every year.

These people dying off and getting out of the system will swing the pole to D regardless.

Democrats need to make it a mission to encourage midterm turnout. They need to raise awareness of when it is, what the election is for, and why that election is important. It should be a major marketing campaign focusing on votes for the "democratic team". Make people want to vote Democrats and make sure they are supported on all levels of government.

I don't know what will ever make this happen just on its own. The only thing that made me vote in a local race was to try to oust my Governer. It helps when you have somebody to rally against, but most states aren't headed by someone as despicable as Paul LePage.

So make it a rally for the home team Democrats.

OH MY GOD

They will ask him how he feels about the GOP refusing to support him, and he's going to attack the GOP leadership. ON TEEVEE.

OH MY GOD.

Someone hold me.

I disagree with you on this. Trump has another option, and that is to apologize and move on without deflecting or passing the bill (literally). But he's physically and (especially) mentally incapable of apologizing and moving on. And that is why he will go the scorched earth route.

They need ads like "A President is Nothing without a Congress" in the Midterms. Sell the party hard.
