Grandma got game!

"Crazy Bernie, but that's okay. We like crazy people."

TRUMP hahahahaha.

LOL is there a link to him saying that?

Probably my favorite moment of the '12 election. That was magical.
When that happened I howled at my TV with a "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh!" like a wrestling audience would. And I was sober!
The Donald speaks.

He brings a bunch of random womem in stage as proof that women DO like him.
Yeah, uh, did they scour the entire audience to find enough women to fill the stage behind him? It means he's continuing to learn on optics, at least! Still all white people back there, though... Wait, no! There's one black person on the right! Diversity!

Doesn't LA have an NFL team now? Talking up a rival quarterback is, like, cheap heel heat in most cities.

I have no idea how to wrangle this paper into a readable thread topic - http://scholar.harvard.edu/files/sh..._income_convergence_in_the_us_declined_01.pdf

Short version- NIMBY housing restrictions end up killing the flow of lower-income people to successful economic areas because too much of a paycheck starts to be taken up by their housing costs. They don't move because they'll lose money moving to the area. This leads to greater inequality as people living outside that area are essentially shut out and unable to join the party. It's basically gentrification on a mass scale.

Today, though nominal premiums to being in the NY area are large and similar for these two occupations, the high costs of housing in the New York area has changed this calculus. Though lawyers still earn much more in the New York area in both nominal terms and net of housing costs , janitors now earn less in the NY area after housing costs than they do in the Deep South. This sharp difference arises because for lawyers in the NY area, housing costs are equal to 21% of their income, while housing costs are equal to 52% of income for NY area janitors. While it may still be “worth it” for skilled workers to move to productive places like New York, for unskilled workers, New York’s high housing prices offset the nominal wage gains.

you see this happening really bad in SF too

Love Warren as this attack dog. Keep at it.

Obama is at 53-43 approval on Gallup now. I'm sorry, but once his hat is officially in the ring for Hillary, this can only help. It's kind of weird to see the polling hurt Hillary right now when Obama is doing so well, but voters are dumb as I continue to repeat.

The only disconcerting thing about the polling, IMO, is how quickly Republicans have rallied behind Trump. I expected most to do so, but man oh man has that been quick. I don't mean politicians, I mean actual voters. He's basically at normal GOP trends now.

The only question is how many GOP leaners will come to his side.

At the end of the day, GOP voters don't give a shit about anything besides winning and thus turnout for Dems is the key.

Remember when 2012 was the wakeup call that the GOP can't continue their current trend of only having the white vote.

Remember how 2016 was the wakeup call and they were doomed because Trump took control and they can't fix that issue?

I'm going to take a guess, but 2020 is going to be the wakeup call and show they can't win with only the white vote

I hate NIMBYism. I hate it. People want affordable housing without what is required to actually build it.

ME ME ME ME ME MY PROPERTIES.

Who buys this shit.

I really wish I could get inside of the head of so called undecided voters. Warren delivers an articulate speech with specific evidence about Trump's qualifications and Trump's response is essentially "she's a stupid dummy head and she smells amirite?"

At this point in the game how can anyone be undecided? You either think that person should be president (and his followers comments on YouTube are just amazing - "whoa, Donald totally buried her!") or you are horrified.

I don't think they're actually undecided. There are likely a lot of Bernie supporters who are not ready to make the statement "I will vote for Hillary"

As the months pass, most will likely realize the situation and at least do it to vote against Trump.

I mean, girl knows what she likes. Even grandmas get horny

"Tom Brady loves Trump"

Just another reason the Pats can go fuck right off.

Tom Brady was a mistake. Nothing but trash

It's Jimmy time now

Oblivion

Fetishing muscular manly men in skintight hosery
Trump's railing against gun free zones.

Doesn't mention that the rally just happens to be a gun free zone.

I'm at my first (and hopefully last) ever Trump rally.

Just saw a bunch of Trumpeters walking around with signs of people that have been killed by illegal immigrants.

10 mins in and the crowd's chanted "USA" three times already.
Watch out Oblivion, I'm coming for you!

Seriously though, hope you're safe.

*Also being in the Commonwealth fuck Tom Brady. Hard.
