In case you haven't realized it by now, Obama is center right, and more in line with people who were right leaning of the past. The quote you showed me says that the editorial board includes centrists and conservatives... nothing about liberals.

That piece you quoted from wiki was from an article trying to address the bullshit "the media is teh liberally biased!" crap that started around the time of the '08 election, and its conclusion was this:

We can add some bullshit about how much money they are spending, like "look at how much those clothes Sasha and Maila are wearing cost! what a waste of tax payer dollars!" Or something like that.
And the real clincher is going to be this: we're going to have to really make an effort to find legitimate areas of criticism in the Obama administration so we can blow them so far out of proportion that it seems like the most scandalous event in history. The Pctx method, we'll call it. Areas of criticism that specifically cross over our specialty - Obama's "lazy" work ethic (for example going on THE VIEW instead of meeting with Israel or, say, the frequent games of pick up basketball he plays to 'prepare' for things) to name just one or THE DEFICIT/DEBT/TAXES - must be really pushed hard. Then we'll provide commentary using some of our vacation graphing to show the truth about Obama's administration
