I never understood why labels have different release dates for different countries. It just encourages illegal downloading imo.

It shouldn't be hard to have an international release for digital music and a different date for physical copies.

I completely agree. The albums should be at least release world wide on the same day. If there is demand for disc copies then release them later on those areas you didn't expect them to have demand for the artist. Usually you know with the first week sales if there is demand for discs or not.
