I completely agree, the brand is strong. The PS5 Pro sales is proof of that. I still think it'll be a hard sell. They need a lot of momentum in the PS5's last 2 years and the first overlapping year.
One thing that seems that people are missing is that the core of Playstation is that it was always about being a console for developers. They wanted everything releasing on their console and they are still doing just that. Their exclusive content was always a bonus and if you check each gen's best selling games, you may get 1 or 2 exclusives in there. Everything else is multiplatform.
The new marching order must be to go on about how the lack of competition is a bad thing for PlayStation

Personally I don't see Sony pushing for more gaas a bad thing I mean they found really good success with Helldivers, it's the excessive push and wasting time of studios that could be working on non gaas games.

Don Mat actually turned xbox around for the first time ever into profits at the end of the 360 gen with kinect. That's when 360 units really took off too.

Nintendo with a hybrid handheld and significantly different library of games, "kiddie" games according to you I might add, is now direct competition for PlayStation? Okay. I don't see much sense in including PC when it comes to this competition, PC is not some custom hardware produced by a single company and it seem Sony themselves lately view PC more as an additional market than competition.
