Let's not forget the live action success is opening up new anime opportunities too. The Netflix and Wit studio remake is being funded now cause Netflix are all in on One Piece

Giving the movie to Sony was the first choice and trust me I know it is all Nintendo to blame, so yes I am well aware of what is happening over here, I have been very loudly vocal against a Zelda movie in the first place which is why this movie tanking is all good for me.

Worth mentioning that Sony is not really participating on the development side (unlike Nintendo), Avi Arad is the studio you should be worrying about.

not a chance, lol, and I can barely read the thread over the insane people saying "she" in reference to this dude... however surgically mutilated or drugged he may or may not be, that fiction remains a fiction

That said, this kind of bullshit remains a danger to Nintendo's core the more they make mainstream movies, because those films get outsourced to US-based studios with compromised producers. I'd prefer Nintendo to stay away from all Western productions and make an anime movie if they want a feature film.
 
I refuse to believe that Nintendo could be this dumb. So I'm going to assume "being considered" just means his agent submitted his head shots for the role and is trying to schedule an audition, and leaked this to a reporter in order to make the audition happen.

probably sent heavily filtered glamour shots to a producer in an attempt to "pass" and trick them into an interview; imagine of that same producer ends up seeing the guy in person and the illusion drops to the floor lol
 
Zelda does sound manly in the last two games imo. Plus people think Link is Zelda to begin with.

Maybe it can be about Link being catfished and after saving "her" he gets poked in the belly during a hug and then stabs "her" to death.

Regardless, you can't deny the striking similarities to Zelda.
 
A live action Zelda is going to be a sack of shite whoever gets picked. Just animate it, classic Disney style...ressurect Eyvind Earle for the art direction and you're sorted.

Like you got to be careful. But in regards to this, the fact that technology has gotten this far with it is insane. Where i have to stop and really look at the opposite sex and question whether that's a women or not. Thankfully this isn't as widespread but it seems like the powers that be really want to go in this direction which is a scary thought.
