I worry if Netflix picks up Silent Hill f ip for live action movie.

Im playing this on the steam deck. Gotta say it runs pretty good on mostly medium and some high settings at 40fps. Sure, there can be massive drops but they are very short and the game itself is kinda slow so its not a big deal. I played 2 hrs so far, I like it but at the same time I just cant think of SH playing this. Because of the setting this to me is more Fatal Frame/ Sirene. Lets see how the game progresses and does it actually connect at all to the OG silent hill lore.

So I finally had a chance to finish it and sadly (for me) I really didn't like it. The story was weak and I never once felt like I was excited to see the endings. After seeing them, i still didn't feel any connection, investment or even care.
The writing and some translation was poor along with the voice acting, combat was meh, characters weren't interesting, the world was overall a bit too cramped and samey. Enemy variation being low isn't anything new and ties to the story so that didn't bother me too much.

Enemies jumping from above or at angles you can't see and random loud bangs is just lazy jump scares. The gore was more comical to me than disturbing, especially with that high pitched audio tune playing. The seemingly never ending collect 3 items to insert into object X, just got so tedious.

Graphically, it looked very good. It had little stutters, but the main absolutely immersion breaking bug for me (could be ultrawide exclusive) was the game using about 25% of the top left of the screen for the game, while the rest is filled with broken graphics and glitches. This happened during exploration and in game cutscenes. It could last a split second or near the end, it was minutes long.

I am glad people like it and it sold well, but I really don't want another game like this is the series, at least for a long time. Very disappointing.

He's definitely right about the combat I'll give him that. On Hard the enemies are cheap as fuck too.

I wonder how big a difference there is between story or w/e and hard combat difficulty?

This person never, ever liked a videogame. He is always bashing everything. Everytime I see a thumbnail in YouTube he is always trashing something

I can't take seriously people like that because his success is based in constant criticism towards games.
