Super Best Friends |OT19| Three-Fifths of a Thread

Replace every social links/confidants face with George, Plague, Zubaz, ect.

I like this, but only if they actually act out the parts of the NPCs, with Plague preferably playing all the most moe characters.

Edit: Geez, that feel when you go from playing DS3's DLC to P5. Industry-worst UI to menu porn on a dime.

Welp, bye to what would've been a cool LP. The parts we got we're pretty fun.

Three episodes of them marking out super hard to character designs, art style tones, and fantastic menu-porn was enough for me. Everything I wanted out of the full LP with none of the YouTube comments making them feel like shit for trying it. And I'm sure there'll be plenty of spoilercast talk coming soon enough.

Welp, this is my favorite LP segment so far.

wait why are they even in Darkroot Garden? Wasnt the whole business with the ring specifically to avoid it until after the DLC

You can clear pretty much all of it outside of Sif, which is what Woolie did. He'd have to do part of it anyway, up to the Hydra at least, in order to access the DLC anyway.

The layer of monster noises over the cat's speech always makes me laugh.

Oh, man; Liam doing a blind Staff playthrough on Proud of KHFM. The gunniest of the gun jumperers.

Seeing quite a lot of people the last few days way past 7/7 and still fine.

Starting to think that release wasn't intended for the public.

I mean, it's a nice theory, but they specifically make a point of calling out Content ID/Copyright Strikes in the release. There's no particular reason to do that if you're talking to press outlets/reviewers, that's specifically aimed at LP-style YouTubers.

It's more likely that Atlus USA is in charge of enforcement of the policy (as it's their legal jurisdiction), and they simply aren't as dumb (or well-staffed, alternately) as Atlus Japan.

They probably won't but I hope they resume the Persona 5 LP somehow. I know a vocal group hates that they were doing it but it's a series I've had some interest in but not enough to play it over other games that interest me more. So it would have been a perfect game for me to experience through their LP that I can watch from work.

Ouch. Pat's audio is terribly loud in this podcast recording. Hope someone notifies them soon.

Don't they have like a dozen buddies who text them when this happens? I almost have to close out of it when he speaks.

They should do some YouTube doubler shenanigans and upload the gameplay to a dummy account and have the facecam on the channel. Monetize the dummy account until the robots come. I guess this'd be too much effort and Atlus/Service Games would probably strike them anyway.

or wait

or wait like a few months and then do it.

Persona much like FF will pull numbers whenever you playit
But it's not as fun when they already know all the cool shit and unexpected twists. Then you're just watching two dudes play a ridiculously long game that they've already done before.

And no bringing Matt on to do it would not work since his jokes would be boring as shit by episode 2.

I enjoy that? I like to hear their thoughts, while I do enjoy lp's of games i never heard about. I bought that gundam game as soon as they played it. The one with the interchangeable parts.

But sometimes like with RE , I like watching them play and seeing how they feel about a thing

Well I mean... I don't think matt is funny most of the time, so... business per usual. He isn't devoid of comedy, but he needs a buddy, his soloshit is yeesh. Ironically enough, his stream is alright.

So... What do they plan for P5? If not a LP then a Spoilercast? Are they holding off in case Atlus decides to let people stream? I'd like to hear impressions on the podcast like Zelda. That was fun.

Not saying much on the newest podcast, just talking about the restrictions.

I still say they do the LP, but for all story-related content they cut to face cams and then (badly) act out the parts of the characters, preferably often forgetting who was reading for which character.

Featuring: Matt, as Hank Hill; Pat, as Vulgar Boy; Woolie, as that Weird Cat-Thing; and special guest Eli, as all of the lewd demons and confidants.

I've been having difficulty listening to their podcast as of recently. A lot of time has been spent over the past few weeks talking about BotW and it's been causing me to glaze over and just put on music. I was hoping after Horizon came out that they might spend some time talking about it, but that barely happened. Same thing with Nier Automata. I think I might just skip this week's podcast.

they barely even talk about botw for this exact reason(i dont really have a problem with it. though i do think there spoiler rules for botw is particular is stupid...). and they cant talk about neir till someone else(other then pat) actually plays it. in that case its gonna end up probably being a spoilercast though.

IMO it seemed less like fear of spoilers and more that there's honestly not that much to say about Zelda, outside that first conversation of how i's open world now.

There is plenty to say, but with them deciding that game play itself is a spoiler they only have 1 thing to talk about and that is thier progress. The game is practically made for people talking about the random cool shit they did and they are going out of their way not to do that. Personally I'd loved to hear that if only so I get ideas for next time I play (right after I finish p5... And maybe 5 other games. God damn this year).

I'm currently reading his Automata LP as it updates.

That was fast.I haven't even finished a single ending yet.

They should just have one huge spoiler cast to save everybody the trouble. Same with P5.I'm also behind on podcasts, what did they say about Horizon?
