Seriously though, make sure you are dodging often, there is a mechanic called Dodge offset that is in the game where if you hold an attack button and dodge you can continue your combo.

she got a little help from me, I couldnt change the buttons during round one and so I had to basically move her finger to spam square

Friend of mine who doesn't play fighting games went to a tournie with me where P4A was being played and got a couple rounds in by just doing auto combos as Teddie. It was hilarious how angry people got.
