Also, does anyone know how often the limited edition Presto cards happen? I was thinking if I were to eventually get one, I'd get the special edition one.

on another note, has anyone been to Porchetta Co or the Pizzeria Libretto near Bathurst/King? I work in the area and just noticed they opened up recently, but haven't had a chance to go yet. thinking of going sometime this week to try eitehr of them out

Or any opinion on Gyugyuya or Kaiju? Been craving Japanese curry for the past week and a half, and trying to find a place to get at least a decent dish

Try Tokyo Kitchen or Manpuku for your curry craving instead. I'd recommend Izakaya Ju or Cafe Green Tea but those are north in J Town.

As for Libretto, I've been to the Ossington one and Danforth one. The Ossington one was much better and my wife thought so as well but couldn't pinpoint exactly why. I haven't tried the others yet.

I thought the TTC fare thing was the first of the month, the sign at the collector booth even said 3.25 and so I asked the guy to break my 5 since I didn't have the change and he said "just 3 dollars man" as I put in 3.25. He tried to tell me but I still paid it like a chump. Oh well.

I'm in Thunder Bay now and the weather is warmer than Toronto. Redonk. (Though that obviously won't last.)

I find that's often the case with bison, especially if I'm ordering a bison burger. It's hella lean meat, and a lot of places don't seem to have a handle on how to properly prepare it. I didn't care for it much originally, but done well, damn is it excellent. I might even prefer it to beef now. (And apparently it's better for you, too.)

Woke up today and windows are all iced up. This is gonna be so terrible waiting for the bus and shit and the walk to work after the subway ride. Team Winter disgusts me on days like this.

ahdurian, I tried Porchetta maybe 3 years ago when I first moved here. I barely remember it, but I remember it being expensive, salty, but quite tasty. Worth trying at least once. I haven't been back since mainly because I'm never in the area.

Gonna work from home today. Too lazy to go outside :D

I tried Porchetta & Co. (I think it was on Dundas?) back in the summer and thought it sucked. The only place I've found so far with a good porchetta "sandwich" is Bar Buca but it's a little too fancy/pricey for everyday eating.

This is my first winter with my own car to commute to work. So when I went to go this morning I forgot about the whole cleaning snow off, scraping ice off, letting it warm up, etc.

I just got back. It's not as bad as it looks cause the sun is out. Vancouver, on the other hand was -2 degrees and foggy. It's like stepping into a cold shower shit.

Got back from work and apparently my brother was at school for a bit before feeling really sick all of a sudden. I don't want to blame the weather, but...

Also my gloves were useless :(

only thing I don't like about this weather is that the streetcars break down easier
ended up waiting for almost 30minutes at Bathurst Station when going to work, and another 20 coming back

I don't understand why they would buy more streetcars which not only breakdown when it gets frigid, but also block a full lane (if and if they aren't broken), compared to buses which they can tow easier and get around

If you're interested, my expectation is that you pay cash, meet me in person in Brampton. This isn't going down at my house, as my girlfriend is already pissed and I don't need any more drama. I was thinking the underground parking lot behind the Tim Hortons at the Bramalea City Centre. It'll provide some shelter and privacy so the doll can be inspected before purchase.

Just going through craigslist ads as I was going to sell something. Saw this in one of the ads that I search and yea...can't believe myself that someone is selling this. It make you wonder.....this person have a GF but still buy this item still. You wonder if the GF isn't enough for it.
