E3 2015 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3

I stated a fact. You're the one who can't accept that duel stick are simply inferior to a mouse or any motion controls. You can like and enjoy playing your duel sticks, but it is still statically inferior.
It's not a fact.
What is a fact is that a lot of duel stick control schemes are inferior to mouse or motion control schemes.

Any controller is only as good as the dev's use of it.

That's nonsense. I don't use the gyro, so I could use the Pro controller fine, the map select could be easily done with the select button. It's fine to have a preference, but don't shit on others.
The whole point is you have an overview of the map at all times. If someone was playing without a map they'd basically be a handicap to the team.

Forgot how 3DS games look like? This is pretty normal for the system.

And the fact that 3DS games rarely look good on stream. Also, this game won't even be out to next year, so there's no point complaining about graphics. But this is Neogaf.

I still believe NLG is a talented studio and I have a feeling this game will be good. Unfortunately, it probably won't be given a chance and will selll poorly. I hope that doesn't mean another long hiatus for the Metroid franchise.

Oh, I know.
The Metroid series is always a visual spectacle game, so it seems off.
The ice beast does look decent though.

I would also say game is like 9 months off

And most Nintendo games are gameplay/foundation first. Will polish up the game's graphics over time.

So is the the singleplayer in Metroid? Glad they are finally showing it, makes me way more interested in the game for sure.

This Federation Force thing really doesn't look too bad at all, online is a nice touch.

Like I said, I don't discuss master race opinions. You can take that shit elsewhere if you want, but I'm not interested

Now it's shit. That's for the mature respond.

Anyone not using gyro controls when playing Splatoon is someone I don't want in my team. It's like they just gave up trying to be good.

That is true.
Gameplay looks simple to me.

Not the biggest Metroid fan myself, mostly want a Metroid Fusion sequel.
A shame NLG wanted to make one but got rejected.

This actually doesn't look to bad honestly. A little barren, but not bad. My biggest concern right now would probably be with online features like the lack of voice chat and what happens if someone has a bad connection and has to drop. Triforce heros at least has the emoticons to give orders to people.

The concept is pretty awesome, and I'm sure it'll end up being a fun game, the only problem is that it looks like shit, especially those character models, they are hideous.

Pretty much my issue.
Plus the two modes which is capturing beasts and soccer might get old.

I will wait for reviews.
Edit: Blast Ball only for show floor? Feel bad about the people at E3.

The game looks much better on the stream, IMO. Is it just me?

I'm sure NLG will give us an enjoyable experience. I hope it does well so Nintendo keeps giving them good projects as I feel they have proven they are talented.

They showed another mission where you shot down pirate's ships. And the game isn't coming out until next year, so judging the graphic now is pointless. Gameplay polish, then worry about it looking pretty.

The Inkstrike Special can't.
Sure it can. You click the stick, the map comes up on screen, you select a point with the analogue stick.
It would be worse, but it could still be done.

It's always hilarious to have people complain about the gamepad being under utilised, and then have different people complain when its use objectively improves the play experience of a game. You really can't please all of the people all of the time.

I agree it will be fun, but I highly doubt it will do well with how the backlash has been so far.

Initial reactions will calm as release nears. If it gets positive reviews and word of mouth, sales should follow. Who would have thought Luigi's Mansion 2 would sell as well as it did?
