I can't tell who fell apart more. Arenas or McGrady. At least T-Mac was consistently great for like a decade..

We'll get em game 2.

Great games today other than the Heat game. Still confident in all of my winners, but I think it's going to take Chicago longer than I thought before and it's probably not going to take as long for Atlanta.

You only needed the best games ever from Dwight and Nelson to lose by 10 today.

Sad to see what Brandon Roy has to be now.

He's my favorite to watch play, when healthy, and I may never see that again.

Wow, I knew Orlando lost, but Howard had 46 & 19 and Neer had 27, both on high %, and they were beaten pretty easily?

Dwight-Bynum
Pau-Odom

frontline confirmed.

neither Anderson or Bass scored a point? J-Rich 4. Just wow.

Orlando was in it until the third when the refs decided to do their "game is getting tense so people are allowed to rake Dwight now" BS and it got away. But yeah, our stupid scrubs couldn't hit the water falling out of a boat.

Stat geeks: aside from OKC players, when was the last time someone had 16 points on 2 shots in a quarter?
Probably this morning when derrick rose and lebron james were playing

Is the game over yet? I'm still watching a Brandon Roy drive in the second quarter.

Hey Stealth, why are you in 100% troll mode these days?

There used to be a time when you would talk shop here.

Didn't your little brother steal your account while the REAL Stealth Fox was away at residency?

The funniest thing about Brandy's hate of Stern/the refs is that the Mavs, other than their series in 06, are one of the most favored teams in the league. Arguably the most.

Dirk elbows Manu in the nose, breaking his nose. Foul on Manu.
Two Dallas Mavericks collide into one another at halfcourt (I can't find the gif but it was hilarious. Think it was Damp and Marion). Foul on Spurs.
Someone breathes on Dirk. Foul.

Its terrible. Spurs/Mavs 06 was so bad that I don't even mind that they got fucked against the Heat. What goes around comes around.

No idea about quarters, but trying to look this up I found a game where James Donaldson took only one field goal attempt in a game but wound up with 15 points.

Chandler also had a game earlier this season with 19 points on 3 FGA.

Classic NBA garbage today. The Pacers got reffed and so did the Blazers. FT disparities were egregious in those games and they easily made the difference in both games. Miami got the same benefit.

If the post made sense that was the little brother.

Oh please. Did you not see the Bulls or Miami game?! Rose went to the free throw line more than the entire Pacers team. And don't get me started on D. Wade.

Is there some kind rule that both teams should get around the same number of FT attempts?

No, but the game is supposed to be called evenly. The Blazers never even got in the penalty that 4th quarter and they were the far more aggressive team. Dallas was just shooting jumpers and by some miracle they're tossing up FTs like confetti on New Year's.

I hate when LeBron talks about "Miami Heat Basketball" as if they have some amazing tradition and prolonged history of a particular style of play.

blazers got a ton of points in the paint because the mavs let them get easy layups and jump hooks.

any other team with a semblance of defense would make the blazers work for those easy points by putting them on the free throw line. Instead, the mavs let the blazers have free reign in the paint. that's why there's such a free throw disparity.

No but Dallas doesn't even drive. They just get FTs randomly.

Dirk shoots jumpers with no one around him and goes to the line. It makes no sense.

I can reason with Howard, Chandler, or Shaq because of their position/FT vulnerability but mid-range fadeaway specialist like Dirk is just...
