About to beat off
I hear you can't buy them at sams club or xbox.com either. Haven't checked myself.
It should be more than 10:1 by now. Phil, please have some dignity and stop torturing xbox's corpse. The latest data I have is from over a year ago, but it was about a 6:1 ratio in favor of PS5 back then already.
Well known and nostalgic in an ironic sense? I agree that Microsoft's incompetence is quite something...Not to terminally online Sony fans, but Xbox is a well known and nostalgic brand to many.![]()
I just checked xbox.com, only the 2tb is available as far as series x goes.I hear you can't buy them at sams club or xbox.com either. Haven't checked myself.
Yes, they just killed the OG, but you knew it. Now they aren't even announcing it.Crazy how they've just killed it. Does anyone remember what they did with the OG Xbox before the 360?
Things aren't looking good in the land down under either.
Though I'm sure someone else pointed this out.
Would it really even be a "Xbox" at that point?I think Microsoft will no longer produce new Xboxes on its own, but the next ones will be built exclusively by OEM partners.
can vs will.... that's the dilemai can still purchase series X 2tb and series S on Xbox.com

Case-in-point, no one is looking at the Rog Xbox Ally X as a "real" Xbox platform. It's (more or less) just a Rog Ally with an Xbox button and UI.
If you care about backwards compat then you probably should get one if it's super cheap, just don't pay anything at original MSRP or above.Seems it will be going on clearance soon worldwide. Should I pick it up for cost of a burrito? Will you?

No Xbox at GameStop = game over. For those that don't know EBGames = GameStop in the US, so expect those stores to get the same message soon too.
Our equivalent in the UK is GAME, and it's nearly at that point now. Reduced down to a couple of shelves, and those are mostly headsets and controllers. No Xbox at GameStop = game over.
Does most GameStops even carry much physical stock anymore? The one by me has mostly plush toys and blind bag trinkets these days.No Xbox at GameStop = game over.
Just checked Amazon and it's gone from there too, for UK, Japan and Australia.
Still available for Germany and the US.

Add the filter - Seller = Amazon UK.Still got stock at Amazon UK of the X and S, sold 1000 and 700 in the last month apparently.
What I am wondering is why bother increasing the price if you are going to drop it?

Why would an OEM want to produce their own version of a dead console? If MS can't even sell them (at subsidized prices), how would Asus, Lenovo, Samsung, etc? They would make far more money making SteamOS consoles.I think Microsoft will no longer produce new Xboxes on its own, but the next ones will be built exclusively by OEM partners.

& controller. yes...The next "console" will likely be an ASUS gaming PC with an Xbox button and UI
Both GameStop and Best Buy barely have anything new for sale in the first place at their stores. Same goes for Walmart and Target.I think Best Buy will be the final nail in the coffin.

I'd be surprised if it isn't online only. It's a system that will probably sell 1-2 million in its entire lifetime.Maybe MS is clearing shelf space for the ROG Xbox Ally line.

I checked from both the Australian and UK site but maybe it registers i'm from Australia and adjusts.I can still see it in stock in the UK.
Are viewing it from another country? If so that's probably why it won't show stock for amazon only some third party sellers.
Big walls of games vs. a tiny section or nothing at all (digital cards) you tell me.How does that compare to Switch and PlayStation?
Gone from front page and store floors.
so much fud going on.. I mean the xbox isn't doing well thanks to shitty MS management. but lets not spread lies
That's how it looks like on the aussie website as well. Xbox GONE!Gone from front page and store floors.
Those links are neither.

Not trying to lie on purpose it just what's going on at the moment. Either it's a glitch or they are sweeping Xbox under the rug of their front door and want nothing to do with them anymore.

Digital only future. You'll own nothing and be happy about it. The way Microsoft have ALWAYS wanted it.Not trying to lie on purpose it just what's going on at the moment. Either it's a glitch or they are sweeping Xbox under the rug and want nothing to do with them anymore.
Video games are a digital medium. Physical media is dunzo, you either accept it or sulk in obscurity.Digital only future. You'll own nothing and be happy about it. The way Microsoft have ALWAYS wanted it.
Man I just wanna get to 60 physical Series X games at most. I'm almost at 50 right now. After that they can do a digital only garbage next gen console so I can safely ignore it and just play Halo on Steam instead. It's a depressing fall from grace, but they only have themselves to blame.Digital only future. You'll own nothing and be happy about it. The way Microsoft have ALWAYS wanted it.
