They look directed by Robert Rodriguez, thats the problem. I get it is his network and all that but chill with that. Change the presentation style of those segments to a traditional way.

after a match a "wwe films" presentation follows, its just weird.

The presentation they have is awesome. It's a real TV show and something different.
WWE could do this thought but they know is freaking weird. They rather save stuff like that for WWE Films.
Then don't watch it. All these idiots in here getting mad at stuff they don't even have to watch. Raw sucks. Don't watch it. Then you don't have to watch a shitty Raw. Lucha Underground has weird backstage stuff. Don't watch Lucha Underground and you won't have to watch those weird backstage segments.
They don't know how to promote anymore. They don't know how to book anymore. They don't fucking care anymore at all.
This is the internet, if there wasn't complaining, all that would be left is porn.
But its wrestling I have to watch it, I skip through that silly stuff and go to the matches, the effort on there is what matters.
No stuff like that costs money and has to be planned in advance. Two things WWE has problems with.
You don't have to watch it. No one has to watch anything. especially shit they don't like. It's really easy to not tune into that shit. In the case of LU, you likely have to go out of your way to watch it, which is even dumber when it isn't shit you like.

So I just got finished seeing Batista's documentary that came out this year....it was basically Batista saying I came back for nothing...btw I just got a movie deal with Marvel
The documentary got messed up big time because plans changed to give Daniel Bryan the WM spotlight. The cameras following Bryan around for his Network documentary were originally supposed to be following Batista for his DVD.
So I just got finished seeing Batista's documentary that came out this year....it was basically Batista saying I came back for nothing...btw I just got a movie deal with Marvel
I always wondered why Batista got a doc for a measly little run like that.

For King we used two pro-wrestlers from Japan who are very popular [Minoru Suzuki and Osami Shibuya]. For Eddy we invited Master Marcelo Pereira, [a Capoeria fighter] from the United States. We also use motion capture for the other characters in the game.

For anything other than the straight interview segments, the "traditional way" (IE the WWE way, which they pretty much lifted from World Class back in the day,) you like is far, far "weirder," if you think about it.
The WWE way normally is "OK, production team, let's set up all this lighting and the overhead boom mic and a camera man or two and a cable-puller or two...now then let's all pretend the wrestlers can't see ANY of that shit and are being caught in a candid moment." That is, unless they decide they CAN see the camera and all the equipment, because all the sudden they want to. It's completely arbitrary.
Lucha Underground doesn't do that with their non-wrestling segments. They just say, "it's a TV show" and they make it like a TV show. This is not really "weird" at all in comparison to WWE's world of awareness/unawareness/4th Wall/No 4th Wall shit that makes absolutely no sense at all. In fact, it's far more normal, and at least the narrative style is more or less consistent form segment-to-segment.

That's fine. You don't have to like things, or like new things. Just don't offer some bullshit justification why you don't like it that really doesn't make any sense.
But I think the majority of us watching the show like the fresh approach. And that's fine too.
