Dragon Gate seems like they're still having the exact same matches now that they were having in 2007 when I started watching their promotion. Different names but a lot of the same spots and styles.

Can't be too different from the comics or it's considered "in name only", can't be too close to the comics as it doesn't work in this different medium of live action, and by it's very nature of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's drug trips, Dr. Doom is incredibly silly.

Except for the cape. More people should wear capes as every day fashion.
