We'll have to see how much luster is lost once he takes his first L. Might have a Yokozuna type of career (not necessarily a bad thing). Once the aura of invincibility is gone I wonder how much is actually there.

Hey now, that match had a horrible build. But "one of the worst mania matches ever"? Hell fucking no. In fact it was pretty good. I'll even say it was better than Hogan V Andre. It was sure as hell better than the Sid match(Which is definitely one of the worst).

Needs to start a feud with a real heel American fighter. Rusev gets fucked over, maybe passes out from having the American flag wrapped around his neck in a manner that makes the American heel look like a total douchebag so the crowd hates him and feel bad for Rusev.
Rusev then comes out and cuts a promo about how he is there to fight honourably, how the American dude has disgraced his country. American then comes out with a baseball bat or some shit, kneecaps Rusev only for the european strongman Cesaro to come out to punish the disrespectful American. Hits bad guy with the uppercut followed by Rusev sprearing the bad guy out of the ring through the ropes in one swift combo.
Cesaro cuts a promo about maybe joining forces with Rusev to show the locker room how respectful sports entertainers, full of the fighting spirit, should conduct themselves in front of the public.
Call them the Euro Guard or some shit. Commentary will be fucking awful either way.
The end game for this whole thing would be Rusev and Cesaro proclaiming how proud they are to fight as europeans on American soil, side by side with the good Americans, for the good American public. EU flag unfurls next to the American flag, people throw flowers into the ring, confetti and streamers fall, some awesome Rocky style music blares through the stadium and everyone feels warm and fuzzy about being part of a global society.

Doesn't mean dick when they don't advertise him except for the people in the area going to the show. People tune in for Brock when he's advertised, so it makes sense that they almost never advertise him as appearing on TV.
The gimmick is that they are shady negroes hiding something behind their positivity.
That plan worked so well for the Daniel Bryan superfans here tho.

So I watched the NXT PPV. Other than the protracted "shocker" of an ending it was pretty good. Don't know if it's enough to keep me on the Network however. Maybe I'll watch on the of the Thursday(?) shows and decide again.

Great way to get a Legend pop from the crowds too! Angle can come out and talk about how they have inspired him to come back and coach the millenials out the back on how to be true patriots (without having to get dropped on his head all the time).
Then Cesaro and Rusev can spread their honour and respect message from their hospital beds, furthering the narative that too many of the current USA stars aren't battling with honour!
