Well, the boss before her damn near handed me my ass, so I'm considering leveling up back in the dome anyway, just to get everyone's Overdrives ready.

Not true. I literally just finished backtracking to Besaid after Spherimorph. It's deceptive, but you can climb the boxes to get on top of the debris on the shore.

I have my config set to OFF for Dressphere change cutscenes but I'm still seeing cutscenes. What am I doing wrong?
Also, when do I get a good grinding place setup? It seems like I'm really underpowered right now, even had a game over screen earlier. Probably 10% in if I can remember what the map said last time.

You're out of luck. Square knew that most people would probably only want to buy X. I'm assuming in order to justify the $40 price point they threw in X-2 along with it since they already redid most of the assets for X

I bought X-2 off someone earlier this week.
Oh well, I'll just play X-2 for now, just thought it would be nice to just have the whole package on my vita.
X-2 is bundled with the cart version. That's the only way to get it on its own in NA/EU. Why didn't you just buy the bundle in the first place if you were going to get both?
In Guadosalam there's a Guado that jogs around the map to train for Blitzball. Pretty sure there's a few other Guado theres another Guado there you can recruit too
Epic now hopefully my local chinese shop has the honk kong version and not the japan version.

Also much prefer random battles + flee over XIIIs approach of forcing you down linear maps with unavoidable monsters and no flee option.
