What's up with SAF always giving bullshit about injuries? Just say he's out for 6 weeks or whatever it is. Don't lie about it and keep saying "oh he's out for 2 more weeks we didn't expect that"

Wanker.

I don't mind.

Now we hope for a burst of form from Nani. He is, at least, a specialist wide player.

Finally. Some good news.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
QPR manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed his interest in Jake Livermore.

The former Tottenham boss wants to make a number of signings during the transfer window and is keen to add at least one midfielder to his squad.

And with Spurs reported to be willing to let Livermore go, Redknapp believes the 23-year-old England international could be an option.

He said: “Jake’s a good player. I’ve got bags of time for Jake as a player. Yes, it’s a possibility.

“I like him and if Tottenham want to do something then he’s a player who would interest me.”

Good move for all parties. Even a loan will let us size up properly whether he has a future with us. Young players need to play.

Yay confirmed:

Liverpool Football Club have confirmed Joe Cole has joined West Ham United on a free transfer.

The midfielder leaves Anfield after a two-and-a-half-year spell with the Reds following his transfer from Chelsea in July 2010.

Cole made a total of 42 appearances for Liverpool, scoring five goals - the last of which came against his new employers during a 3-2 win over the Hammers at Upton Park in December.

Everybody at LFC would like to wish Joe all the best for the future.

Laugh at me if I'm wrong but Kirchhoff will be another case of wasted talent at Bayern. It makes sense for Bayern I guess, van Buyten out and a talented CB who doesn't cost much in. Kirchhoff will easily fill that role.

But I don't see him making the next step at Bayern. Dante, Badstuber and Boateng are miles ahead of him, he isn't even first choice CB at Mainz at the moment and only played half a season constantly at CB. With some time, he could become a good CB, but he won't have that time.

Leverkusen would have been a good shout for him, and I guess Dortmund, too, with either Subotic or Santana leaving.

What was your guys favourite album of 2012?

Mine was probably this

To me, the first few songs they released were good/refreshing, while the whole album is boring.
I don't even think I have a fav. album this year, just select singles :/

Meh, Kirchhoff wasn't even a regular starter at Mainz.
Though I'm sure Boateng will want to leave now (I know I would want to).

Yeah true. But Dante will be 30 next summer, and Heynckes already did a pretty good job at juggling 3 CBs so he will get his share of playing time. It's also not known how Badstuber will perform once he gets back, it could easily take him a couple of months to reach his top form again.

I doubt it, Boateng has the most potential of all the Bayern CBs. He could be world class (I'm serious).

There's no source for Platini's ridiculous comment on Celtic. But the damage is done already, I'm expecting 11 lions in Scotland.

I get the impression Newcastle won't buy anyone else after Remy. I think Pardew seems to think that CB-wise, Perch can fill in as back-up, plus he can fill in as CM as well when Tiote disappears to the ACoN. Not that this excuses anything. We need a new CB and a new CM desperately. Douglas and Sissoko man, DOUGLAS AND SISSOKO. 5/6m total. Jeez man. So easy.

Nah, he's too technically inept/stupid for that.
I'm sure he would've already stirred up shit if it wasn't for Badstuber's injury and now there is more competition for that position. I don't know, I feel like he could chose to leave in the summer (City could want him back, dunno)
