Two pickups for me!

First is my new Asus VG278H 3D monitor. Currently sitting on my desk in front of the 32" Samsung TV I was using previously. Waiting for my brother to take the TV away. Ignore the calendar on the wall I never change the month on the damn thing lol

For fun I picked up this 25th Anniversary Sonic figure. I thought it looked really cool so it sits on my Xbox. My girlfriend thought it was silly lol

Resident Evil 6 - Limited Edition

Now I have 2 no hope left t-shirts + 2 DLC codes.
Seems I just won Little Big Planet Vita from PlayStation Blog. :D :D :D, so happy.

Canon EF 50 mm F/1.8 II, 170 $ ;_;
congrats on your nifty-fifty! THE best-buy lens of all time, IMHO. I had it for ~3 years, makes excellent photos and it's a great portrait lens on APS-C (effectively making it a 80mm). enjoy it!

It was my beefday over the weekend so I got myself some presents. TREAT YO' SELF, because you are 28 and no one cares about your birthday anymore.

Picked up some games for my new new Vita that I bought with the 300$ I won at Cache Creek Indian Casino. Loosest penny slots this side of Nevada

Why so expensive, doesn't it usually go for $100? I paid like $135 and I live in Sweden where everything is waaay more pricey :)

To contribute to the thread. Three books and a couple of prints (only one in the picture because I had only one frame):

Something I've learned the hard way. Buy more books and print/frame your stuff and acquire less gear. Inspiration and reflection > hardware.

Happy Birthday!

I have never seen the Retro Game Master show, (I only know it by seeing the topic in the forums here). Is the DVD set worth picking up? Subtitles? How many episodes?

Are these the Kotaku episodes or the proper GameCenter CX versions?
They're the Kotaku versions.

Which is to say they're exactly like the Game Center CX DVDs in Japan, with English subtitles and narrator voiceovers.

All the sequences where he goes to arcades, etc, were missing even on the Japanese DVDs.

I never watched the Kotaku stuff since I refuse to give them my clicks. nut the back of the box says:

RETRO GAME MASTER Version includes ENGLISH NARRATION EP 1-12.

GAME CENTER CX version:

Japanese narration, japanese language EP 1-14.

So both.

I heard the arcade stuff isn't on these DVDs but I have seen fan translations around of the arcade stuff.

It's a fun show I recommend watching a little on youtube or something. I remember an ex-girlfriend of mine got really into the show and she had little or no interest in video games, but a got a thrill watching me play. So this show kind fills that sort thrill and is easily relatable since we all have tried and failed many games.

1/6th scale Batmobile from Hot Toys. It arrived today. The shots were taken very quickly after assembly.

One of favorite arcade soundtracks ever! This first volume has the entire arcade soundtrack (remastered) as well as two arranged tracks and the "loading/ending screen" tune from the X68000 version. Also, the arcade Assault and Quester soundtracks are included.

Oh.. There's the Japanese language track too? I guess this does make it a decent equivalent of the Japanese DVDs.. I think I'll pick this up.

(to be companions of the fan-subbed TV episodes)
