Haha, wow. Saying Hillary's got a video mocking Bernie and his supporters, right after calling him Crazy Bernie and mocking him. I don't know how his brain works.

Basement Dwellers talking point is now officially a talking point then. Lol

Man, watching this show about presidential losers on CNN. Al Gore would have made one of the greatest presidents of all time. Shown real leadership after 9/11, do something meaningful with 91% approval rating and if anything, for passing an historic climate bill. Actually responded in a responsible way after Katrina hurricane instead of going down there to pat on the back of his friends. Of course he would have gone down with the economic meltdown and we'd be stuck with McCain/Palin but at least McCain doesn't drunk tweet about sextapes at 3 am.

Fuck Florida man.

Trump's negging of his supporters is nearly unprecedented for a presidential candidate I think?

"If we don't win, this whole thing was a complete waste of time."

Trump fans are booing the constitution right now, omg.

Trump is now calling for his supporters to intimidate black people, like these Fourth Reich assholes would dare step in Philly, lol.

Their silence after he says it is comical. They don't know how to react to it.

It's like Bilbo crapping on his birthday guests in Lord of the Rings.

But worse, much, much worse.

Yeah I'm not worried about this "basement" controversy.

Trump supporters are told what to think and believe it without question.

I trust Bernie supporters to hear it, go "What?" and then jump on the internet to actually read what is said and understand nuance.

I... hope I'm right.

I have to vote in PA and the vague stuff he is talking about and asking his supporters to stop makes me a wee bit uncomfortable.

"...and the dopes at CNN..."

After saying that he was given a "bum mic" on purpose.

He's going all in on the crazy, forgetting he has teleprompters.

Sanders never thanked voters in states that he lost (except California because California is the most important state ever)

Why this idiot talking about his great primary victories. It's the past man. Who cares. He keeps telling the same story he said last year. The new polls must have him shook he has to talk about the past for his ego.

Yeah, but it's almost sad. It's certainly not Obama's fault that the midwest is being devastated by, like, reality, and it is certainly not his fault that this woman is clearly in need of medical attention. But I am upset that demagogues like Donald Trump are able to take advantage of people who very seriously need help because he says racist shit. The only thing uniting poor white people it would seem is their distaste of everyone else. That's NOT Obama's fault. But I can't help but be a little sympathetic for this woman.

The only thing uniting poor white people is there addiction to drugs

He rarely thanked voters in the states that he won too. And, that shit gets me. I don't care who you are. I don't care how badly you lost or how bigly you won. You go out there and you thank the people who helped you. Period. Full stop.

Trump once again attacking Hillary for having been sick while he obviously has a cold.

Trump says Hillary can't be president because she fainted.

Trump: "Hillary could actually be crazy."

Trump: "How many union members are in here?"

*No one raises hand*

Trump: "Uhhhhhhhh.... Well...."

This is sad now. I used to worry about "reserved Trump" finally focusing, but he's lost it. Railing on Hillary being a "woman" who can't make it to her car without collapsing.

I fully expect, much like the Gore town hall where he was criticized for getting too close, Trump will be practically shoving Hillary out of her space in the next debate when she makes him look like the sad clown he is.

Trump advocating for a Judge Dredd future confirmed.

If candidates 30 of 40 years ago spent so much time insulting everyone like Trump does, they'd be laughed out of the country.

Now?

They have a chance to be president. Fuck the country has really gone to the shitter.

It's all Obama's fault. If he didn't become president, none of this would have happened

Trump Tax Records Obtained by The Times Reveal He Could Have Avoided Paying Taxes for Nearly Two Decades

Donald J. Trump declared a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns, a tax deduction so substantial it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years, records obtained by The New York Times show.

The 1995 tax records, never before disclosed, reveal the extraordinary tax benefits that Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, derived from the financial wreckage he left behind in the early 1990s through mismanagement of three Atlantic City casinos, his ill-fated foray into the airline business and his ill-timed purchase of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.

Tax experts hired by The Times to analyze Mr. Trump’s 1995 records said tax rules that are especially advantageous to wealthy filers would have allowed Mr. Trump to use his $916 million loss to cancel out an equivalent amount of taxable income over an 18-year period.

Trump has no idea what the email scandal is about. He literally still thinks Hillary used a physical substance to "bleach" her emails.

Trump: "Hillary wants people to pour into the country and then there will be problems."

I dunno guys I sort of like unhinged Trump. It's like a nice warm blanket. I'm used to it, it's comforting to just see him being full-on Trump again. I approve of this.

I don't know how you spin him not paying taxes for the last 18 years. I get why he wouldn't have to. But his entire platform is around how successful he is. You can't spin it. Just the headlines alone are rough. 18 years?!

I mean his comments pretty much confirmed he didn't pay them. Add that to the fact he's ok with stiffing workers.

IF this shit gets play that's not good news at all. Blue collar workers don't want to hear how you didn't pay taxes for nearly 20 decades.

Speaking of thanks, that's the perfect segue for this awesome e-mail that Mook just sent out, because everything about it is amazing:
Timothy --

With only 38 days to go (!), I want to give you an update on the state of our campaign and this race as a whole.

But before I get into the details, I first want to thank you. Then I want to thank you again. September had its ups and downs -- but with your help and your hard work, we’re starting the final full month of this election stronger than ever.

There are now more than 2.6 million donors to this campaign. In September alone, more than 900,000 people decided to chip in, and together, we raised $154 million to make the case for Hillary, get out the vote, and beat Donald Trump.

Timothy, we don’t know yet where Trump landed -- though if the $18 million he raised in just 24 hours this week was any indication, his September total will likely exceed the $90 million he raised in August. So we need to be prepared for what's to come.

October marks a new moment in this campaign. We have just a month and change left until Election Day, and thanks to Hillary’s masterclass performance on Monday’s debate, we’re beginning the final leg of the race with the wind at our backs.

Before I go on, let's just take a moment to appreciate Hillary, shall we? For 17 months, there's a word that a lot of us at HQ have been using to describe our boss: badass. Well, if you didn't see her that way before last Monday, you -- and just about the whole world -- probably do now. Imagine going on stage in front of 85 million people, with the future of the country on your shoulders and a man willing to say just about anything standing across from you, and performing with that kind of poise, focus, and moral clarity. This woman just does not quit. I have never admired her more than I do this week.

Thankfully, every real poll this week shows that Hillary won the debate. That it wasn’t even close. And -- surprise, surprise -- Trump hasn’t handled the loss well. In the days since Hillary forced Trump to answer for his verbal assaults on women from the debate stage, Trump seems unable to stop himself from discussing his misogyny. He spent the entire week trying to suggest that there's nothing wrong with a decades-long record of racist, sexist comments. Now, nearly every time he speaks or opens his Twitter account, he's talking about some new, cruel jab at women, their looks, and their weight. He’s become unhinged.

Despite all that, the needle on this election hasn’t moved as much as we might wish. Even with Hillary making some gains, the polls are still close, and the forecasts are still tight. That’s how we should expect things to be from here on out. It's just the reality of partisan politics in 2016 -- the country is closely divided. The vast majority of Republicans support Trump, and will continue to no matter how low he stoops. There is nothing he can do that will make him fall below 40% or 42% in the polls.

So no matter how many times Hillary outclasses him, even when she does it in front of 85 million people, we can’t let ourselves believe we have the upper hand. Complacency is fatal in any presidential campaign -- let alone one in which one of the candidates is as unpredictable as he is unprecedented.

So it’s on us to turn Hillary’s debate night win into an Election Day victory. It’s on us to make sure the battleground states that are all pure toss-ups today -- Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina -- become a little bluer with every tomorrow that passes by.

It’s on us to give our all right now, and every day until November 8th.

Because let’s be clear: Election Day is no longer just a single moment. Early voting is already underway (seriously -- voters are voting in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin!) and voter registration deadlines are coming up quickly, so we’re doing our very best to reach every undecided voter before they pick up that ballot. We’re sending our organizers to pound the pavement in Pennsylvania and ring doorbells in Florida, and we’re putting together ads to air in states like New Hampshire and Wisconsin.

We know exactly what we have to do to win this race. But if we don’t step up in October even more than we did in September, we just won’t have the resources we need to execute that plan. We’ll have to choose where to concentrate our money, deciding which battleground states we leave up to chance and which undecided voters we leave on the table for Trump to pick up.

That’s why we ask so much from you. And that’s why we say your dollars make a real, tangible difference. Elections have come down to a couple of votes per precinct before -- and that’s the kind of margin you win over when you help to ship a new ad or deploy another busload of volunteers. Whether we’re able to pay for those necessities depends on what we get from this team.

If you’ve already chipped in and are raring to do even more (you’re the best!), there are so many other ways you can lend us a hand. You can volunteer at local events, use our call tool to connect with key voters, knock on doors in battleground states, or spread our message on social media. No matter what you do, no matter if it’s for 10 minutes or two hours, your work will make a difference.

Timothy, we’re just five weeks away from winning this thing. Just 38 days away from electing someone who will work tirelessly to better the life of each and every American -- a woman who will never stop battling if there’s still progress left to be made.

Let’s finish this fight together. Chip in $50 if you can and let’s sprint across the finish line.

Welcome to October.

Niiiice.

{TinfoilHat}I wish there were some way to know which of these stories were nudged-along by Clinton's oppo department vs those that were found by intrepid reporters./{/TinfoilHat}

Clinton had to have known this. She specifically mentioned that "he could have not paid taxes for years."

She had to get that from somewhere, this article shows were.

There's no way she'd say something like that to a guy so litigious

Hillary's got some primo material for the next debate, if she can find a way to work it into her answers without being too harsh for the town hall audience.
